Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi – Aberdare National Park

Stop At: Aberdare National Park, Aberdare National Park, Central Province
We depart Nairobi in the morning and drive to Aberdare National Park or Mt. Kenya National Park arriving in time for lunch. After lunch and high tea, set off for the Ark tree lodge, located in the forest on mountain slopes of the Aberdare Mountains at 7,000 feet. This outstanding lodge offers high altitude game viewing, including animals that are rarely encountered elsewhere: giant forest hog, bush pig, tree hyrax, large spotted Genet, and the elusive bongo. Wildlife can be observed from different levels – and from outside where you can see, hear and smell everything and inside where you can sit with a cup of tea and stay warm and cozy.

Day 2: Aberdare National Park – Sweetwaters National Park

Stop At: Ol Pejeta Conservancy, Nanyuki Private Bag, 10400 Kenya
Today we travel to the exotic camp in the secluded heart of Ol Pejeta Ranch and Rhino Reserve. Here, these magnificent beasts are given sanctuary from those who would take their lives to sell their horns.

Day 3: Sweetwaters – Lake Nakuru National Park

Stop At: Lake Nakuru National Park, Lake Nakuru National Park, Rift Valley Province
After breakfast at the lodge, we depart with a picnic lunch to Lake Nakuru National Park located in the Great Rift Valley. After lunch an exciting game drive is planned for the afternoon. The game in this park is plentiful and magnificent

Day 4: Lake Nakuru – Lake Naivasha

Stop At: Lake Naivasha, Naivasha Road Nakuru County Kenya
After early breakfast spend the morning in Nakuru park where you have a chance to see flamingos among other birds[about 350 species recorded]. This is also home to the black and the white rhinoceros. The park has also been established for the protection of endangered species such as the Rhino and also home to Columbus monkeys. Leopards, giraffes, and a variety of plain antelope. After depart to nearby Lake Naivasha with picnic lunch on the way, do evening boat ride at lake Naivasha.

Day 5: Lake Naivasha – Masai Mara National Reserve

Stop At: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Maasai Mara National Reserve, Rift Valley Province
After breakfast we depart to Hell’s Gate National Park. Once at the Park, you have the option of a game drive in a Safari vehicle or take bikes into the Park. Cycling in the Park is a great adventure as you get to ride the bikes for 7 Kilometers before resting at a ranger’s post. After a brief stop at the rangers post you leave the bike and start a walking safari. Enjoy the spectacular views of the gorge. Have Lunch then we depart to the Masai Mara National Reserve. Masai Mara National park is actually part of the vast Serengeti plains famously known for its spectacular great wildebeest’s Migration and is home of the Big Five: Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo and Rhino

Day 6: Masai Mara Full day

The Masai Mara is one of the greatest wildernesses of the world. Morning and afternoon migration game drives are planned. Large mammals are varied, abundant and easy to see. Residents among the parks mammals are; Masai Giraffe, Buffalo, Impala, Zebra, Topi, both the Thomson’s and Grant’s Gazelles

Day 7: Discover Masai Mara Game Reserve

Stop At: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Maasai Mara National Reserve, Rift Valley Province
We spend a full day in the Masai Mara on morning and afternoon game drives. The trees in the distance might turn out to be a family of Giraffes. Those clump of bushes a pride of Lions, and the rock that moves a Rhino lumbering out of your way. With diligence and some luck, you may encounter a family of Cheetahs, or a herd of Elephants crossing the path in front of you. Large animals are not the only entertainment – a family of warthogs may amuse you, running as fast as their little legs will carry them, until they forget why they are rushing and stop to regroup.
