This 4-day safari will first take you to the foot of Mount Kenya where you’ll visit East Africa’s Largest Black Rhino Sanctuary. Ol Pejeta is known as one of the few places you can still witness the endangered black and white rhino. It also convinces with stunning views across open plains and is the host to an abundance of wildlife.
Later in your journey, we’ll make our way to Samburu, home to the Turkana, Gabbra, Samburu, and other colorful tribes. The combination of stunning wildlife and amazing scenery guarantees and unforgettable experience.

Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi ~ Ol Pejeta
Stop At: Ol Pejeta Conservancy, Nanyuki Private Bag, 10400 Kenya
Once you arrive in Kenya, your safari guide will greet you at the Airport, where you’ll be briefed about the days ahead. He’ll be your driver, tour guide and source of information for all things Kenya throughout your safari.
This is when your journey begins. You’ll be taken to your accommodation, where you can get settled and have lunch. After which you’ll head out on your first game drive around the Ol Pejeta Conservancy. There you’ll be introduced to the black and white rhino and some of the regions other two- and four-legged residents.

Day 2: Ol Pejeta ~ Samburu National Reserve
Stop At: Samburu National Reserve, Samburu National Reserve, Samburu District, Rift Valley Province
After breakfast, you will say goodbye to Ol Pejeta as you head to the Samburu National Reserve.
Once you’ve arrived and had lunch, it’s time for your first game drive around the reserve. The Ewaso Ng’iro river runs trough the reserve, which serves as a water hole for the abundant wildlife in the area.

Day 3: Samburu National Reserve (full day)
Stop At: Samburu National Reserve, Samburu National Reserve, Samburu District, Rift Valley Province
On this full day of game drives, you can look forward to seeing the reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich and several other uncommon species. If you’re very lucky, you may even spot the endangered African wild dog out on the hunt for food.
At the end of this full day of game drives, you’ll head back to your accommodation for dinner. Then it’s time to settle in for the night and prepare to leave in the morning.

Option 2 – morning game drive, return for lunch, afternoon game drive.

Day 4: Samburu National Reserve ~ Nairobi
Pass By: Nairobi, Nairobi
After breakfast, your guide will drive you back to Nairobi, where he will drop you off at the airport or your hotel. He will wish you farewell and leave you to continue your adventures in Kenya, or to head out on your journey back home.
