This is a pioneering conservation organization aimed at protecting orphaned baby elephants. learn more history behind each elephant from the place of rescue and the cause of him being an orphan till then from knowledgeable keepers/guides till the time they will be introduced back to the wild again. DSWT is credited with re-introducing the elephants back to the wild after the age of 4-5 years. Also, the trust looks after an orphaned Rhino rescued from poachers and the natural death of the mothers. this sanctuary opens daily from 11 am to 12noon. The entrance fee for the orphanage is included and guaranteed reservation.

The center was established in order to protect endangered giraffe subspecies ( Rothschild giraffe). The sanctuary acts as a breeding site for this species of giraffe and environment conserving initiatives.it is a non-profit making Organisation and a center for Nature education.
