Start with 9am pickup at your centrally-located hotel in Nairobi, then travel to the Nairobi National Museum for an hour-long guided tour of the museum’s most important exhibits. You’ll find displays covering Kenyan cultures, paleontology, and more, and get a good introduction to the region’s fascinating history.

The next stop is the African Fund for Endangered Wildlife, often called the Giraffe Centre, where you’ll learn about giraffe conservation efforts, and see some of the centre’s resident Rothschild’s giraffes, an endangered species with a beautifully distinctive coat.
