Migration safari in Kenya

The Masai Mara, with its vast landscape of lush Savannah and incredible density of wildlife, is our favorite wildlife reserve in Kenya. Most people visit for two to three days and then journey onto other parks, but there is a strong case for staying longer and in 2 different locations. Ilkeliani located outside the reserve and Osero located inside right at the heart of the reserve.

Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

Stop At: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Maasai Mara National Reserve, Rift Valley Province
Pick up from the airport or hotel and drive to Masai Mara National reserve, stop at the Great rift Valley view point, hot lunch at the camp, afternoon game drives, later drive back to your camp for dinner and overnight. Night bonfire at the camp fire place. Meal plan full board

Accommodation included: overnight at Ilkeliani Mara Camp or similar

Day 2: Mara National Reserve

Stop At: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Maasai Mara National Reserve, Rift Valley Province
Today we enjoy an early morning game drive then return to our lodge for a full sit-down English breakfast. Alternatively we can spend the day in the park in search of predators and their prey like the Zebra, Wildebeest, Giraffe etc. We have lunch at one of the nearby Lodge or camp. We shall also have an opportunity to see Hippo and Crocodiles found in the Mara River. Later drive back to your camp for overnight.

Day 3: Mara National Reserve

Stop At: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Maasai Mara National Reserve, Rift Valley Province

After breakfast depart to the Nairobi, arrive in time for lunch at the Famous carnivore restaurant- complimentary from the Mara 2 Serengeti safaris, later drop off at the airport or your city hotel.
