Itinerary
Upon arrival at Funzi island, you will get to sail up the river on a motorized canoe. On either side of the river, you can see a stretch of the mangrove forest. The river abounds with exceptional bird life and, a chance to spot crocodiles as they bask in the sun by the river bank.
It is important to note that the water in Ramisi river is not clear (due to the mangrove), and is therefore, not suitable for snorkeling. However, Funzi lagoon is amazing and the trip is calm and relaxing. A stop on the sandbank ensures that you’re at the most beautiful spot on the coast for swimming and making the most of this little piece of paradise.
After the boat trip, seafood delicacies accompanied by Swahili dishes is served.

After a visit to the village on Funzi island for those who so desire, we head for the Funzi Restaurant. Sample our seafood specialties: crab, grilled fish, coconut rice, and non-seafood menus we offer chicken or beef. Vegetarian dishes are also catered for on request.
