The Maasai Mara is a large game reserve in South-West Kenya. The name is derived from the Maasai people and the Mara River which divides it into eastern and western parts. The extensive savanna grassland in between the rolling hills hosts a large variety of wild animals. Every year about 2.5 million wildebeests and hundred thousands of zebras wander through the Masai Mara between the months of June and October on their Great Migration between the Serengeti National park in Tanzania and Masai Mara in Kenya. This spectacle has recently been declared the 7th natural world wonder. Masai Mara is a permanent home to lions, leopards, cheetahs, black rhinos, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, crocodiles, giraffes, antelopes and around 400 species of birds among many others.
Sentrim Mara Lodge is located adjacent to the Maasai Mara Game reserve, 3 km from Sekenani gate. The entire camp is spread over 100 acres of tranquil natural vegetation. .

Itinerary
Day 1: Depart Nairobi for Masai Mara
Stop At: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Narok 00100 Kenya
After breakfast you will be picked at your pick up points at 7.00 am and depart to the world-famous Masai Mara Game Reserve via the Great Rift Valley. En route enjoy the beautiful scenery.
As we drive down the windy escarpment, we can have a brief stop at the Kikuyu hills view point as you enjoy paranomic view of the Rift Valley.
Arrive at your Camp in time for lunch and check in at the lodge and get to relax a bit after the long journey. In the afternoon, at around 4pm to 6pm enjoy an enthralling game-viewing drive. Spotting lions, cheetahs and other spectacular predators is the highlight of your day. This evening, enjoy a sumptuous dinner at your lodge.

Day 2: MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE
Stop At: Mara Savannah Masai Market, Narok – Bomet Highway, Narok 20500 Kenya
You will take off in the wee hours of the morning at 0500HRS.float in the sky, drifting with the whim of the wind, overlooking the plains, just in time to experience a breathtaking sunrise and catch a bird’s eye view of the reserve. The trip is magical spend about one hour silently floating over the savannah in a hot air balloon drifting with the whim of the wind, overlooking the plains, vegetation and the amazing wildlife. After the flight, you will be treated to a luxurious breakfast to complete the experience as you relax and absorb the moment.
What to carry: Take a hat to protect your head from the heat of the gas burners!

Every year between July and October millions of wildebeest and zebras migrate to Mara in search for water and pastures, however regardless of migration or not, Mara guarantee you will have a great moment hence it’s the capital of animals, birdlife, Masai people, beautiful trees that bring the evening breeze in the park while others form canopies that shelter animals during the day.
The rest of the day is spent doing game drivers in search of the animals.

The mara river is the home of the hippo. View the hippos as they take a splash.

Day 3: DEPART MASAI MARA TO NAIROBI
Pass By: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Narok 00100 Kenya
After breakfast at Sentrim camp you will be driven back to Nairobi. You carry with you memories and plenty of photographs.
Stop At: Mara Savannah Masai Market, Narok – Bomet Highway, Narok 20500 Kenya
Travellers will visit the curio shop to see if there are any gift items that they can buy to carry with them home.
Also have lunch at Narok.
