9 Days Samburu, Nakuru, Masai Mara, Amboseli Safari

Visit Samburu which is home to unique animals known as the Special Five which include; Reticulated Giraffe, Grevy’s Zebra, Beisa Oryx , the blue-necked Somali Ostrich and Gerenuk antelope.
Visit Masai Mara National Reserve which is known to host large number of Game animals. The reserve is also famous for its annual wildebeest migration which occurs between July and October.
You will also visit Ambosel National park famous for its large population of elephants. Its also a nice spot for viewing Mt Kilimanjaro.

Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi to Samburu

Stop At: Samburu National Reserve, Samburu National Reserve, Samburu District, Rift Valley Province
Pick up from Nairobi in the morning and drive north to Samburu arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive follows here you will See the thin-striped Grevy’s Zebra, reticulated Giraffe, blue-necked Somali ostrich and Beisa Oryx, all species only found north of the equator. The long-necked Gerenuk, a graceful antelope, spends most of its time here in a bi-pedal stance seeking succulent leaves.
Dinner and overnight at Samburu Sopa lodge

Day 2: Explore Samburu

Stop At: Samburu National Reserve, Samburu National Reserve, Samburu District, Rift Valley Province
This day we will have a early morning in the park, return to the lodge for breakfast in the mid-morning. The rest of the morning is spent at leisure. Afternoon game viewing follows after lunch in search of the big five. Later return for dinner and overnight stay at
Samburu Sopa lodge

Day 3: Samburu to Lake Nakuru

Stop At: Lake Nakuru National Park, Lake Nakuru National Park, Rift Valley Province
Early breakfast at your camp, check out and drive to Lake Nakuru. Arrive at Lake Nakuru Lodge in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive follows after lunch. Later Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay

Day 4: Lake Nakuru-Masai Mara

Stop At: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Maasai Mara National Reserve, Rift Valley Province
Early Morning game drive in the park, return to your lodge for breakfast. Check out and depart to Masai Mara via Narok. Arrive at Mara Enkorok Camp in time for lunch. Later proceed for afternoon game drive in search of the big five. Later return to your camp for dinner and overnight stay

Day 5: Masai Mara Full Day

Stop At: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Maasai Mara National Reserve, Rift Valley Province
Full day of game drives with a picnic lunch in the wild, superb photographic opportunities to capture the black-maned lion, elephant and various plains game. Overnight at the camp or lodge.
Optional visit to Masai Village for a cultural tour can be arranged – $20 per person. Also optional Hot air balloon ride can be arranged this morning at $430 per person, then proceed with your game drive .

Day 6: Masai Mara to Nairobi

Stop At: Nairobi National Park, Langata Road, Nairobi Kenya
You will depart Masai Mara for Nairobi early in the Morning with game drive, Arrive Nairobi late in the afternoon and check in at Your Hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Nairobi-to Amboseli

After breakfast, drive south south to Amboseli national park, arrive late in the afternoon and check in at your Hotel. Afternoon is spent game viewing in the majestic Amboseli.

Day 8: Full Day Amboseli

Early morning game drive in the park to catch clear views of Mt Kiimanjaro. Return to your lodge for breakfast then proceed for another Game drive in the park. You will have a picnic lunch in the Park. Here you will have the chance to see the Big Five while enjoying the comforts of your game drive.

Day 9: Amboseli to Nairobi
