Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi – Tsavo West National park

Stop At: Tsavo National Park West, Tsavo National Park West, Coast Province
Our driver will pick you at 7:00 AM where you will depart Nairobi and head straight to Tsavo West National park. You will have a game drive to the secluded heart of big game country. In addition to Elephant, Antelope, Zebra, Wildebeest, Buffalo and Lions, nearly every vista within the Park is framed by majestic Mount Kilimanjaro in the distance. Breakfast at the lodge; optional visit to a Masai Village and depart for Tsavo West National Park. After check-in and lunch, an afternoon ‘Spice’ game drive in this vast Park is planned. Tsavo West National Park covers 20,808 sq km (8,034 sq miles), The Park comprises a diversity of habitats, open plains alternating with savannah bush and semi-desert scrub; acacia woodlands; rocky ridges and outcrops. With a permanent water source, the park is virtually guaranteed enormous herds and excellent game viewing including Cheetah, Lion, Leopard and Hyena and a herd of over 3,500 Elephant. Later dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 2: Full day Tsavo West National park

Stop At: Tsavo National Park West, Tsavo National Park West, Coast Province
Two game drives are scheduled for this day. The extensive diverse habitats offer ideal area to search for pride of Lions, Buffaloes, Cheetahs, Giraffe, Zebras, Hippos and Wildebeests. Mzima Spring, underground water seepage from Chyulu hills is a good place to watch the Hippos. There is also a wealth and diversity of birds’ species. Later dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 3: Tsavo West – Amboseli National park

Stop At: Amboseli Eco-system, Amboseli Eco-system, Rift Valley Province
After breakfast, you will depart Tsavo and head to Amboseli National park and checkinn. After you will have a packed lunch and head out for a game drive at the park. At this game drive, you will have a chance to see the Amboseli Lake,the Big five and other animals such as zebras, hyenas, gazels and others. You will also have a chance to see the peak of the great Mount Kilimanjaro which makes the park beautiful with the herds of elephants under it. Later you will head back to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Amboseli – Lake Nakuru National park

Stop At: Lake Nakuru National Park, Lake Nakuru National Park, Rift Valley Province
After breakfast, you will proceed to Lake Nakuru. Lake Nakuru National Park is home to Giraffes, Waterbucks, Black and White Rhinos, Buffalo, Lions and Leopards, among other wildlife. On the shores of the lake there are thousands of Flamingos who feed on the algae. Lunch will be at the Lake Nakuru Lodge, Sarova Lion Hill Lodge or similar. There will be an afternoon game drive around Lake Nakuru and the forest nearby. Later dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 5: Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara National Reserve

Stop At: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Maasai Mara National Reserve, Rift Valley Province
After breakfast, you will depart to Masai Mara National Reserve and arrive in time for lunch. After lunch, depart for a game viewing drive in the Mara Reserve. Return back to the camp for a sumptuous buffet dinner ending with good time for resting. Masai Mara Reserve is the most popular tourism destination in Kenya. Located in the Great Rift Valley in primarily open grassland. Wildlife is most concentrated on the reserve’s western escarpment. Its regarded as the jewel of Kenya’s wildlife Viewing areas. The annual wildebeest migration alone involves over 1.5 million animals arriving in July and departing in November. Hardly can a visitor miss to spot the big five. The phenomenal wildebeest migration which is a spectacular event only seen in Maasai mara is the the wonder of the world. Later dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 6: Full day Masai Mara National Reserve

Stop At: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Maasai Mara National Reserve, Rift Valley Province
Spend the full day exploring Masai Mara in search of the Big Five. You will have picnic lunches in the Reserve as you scale the Mara beauty sited at the banks of Mara river. Optional: In the evening, Visit the local Maasai village for a Maasai cultural tour at USD 20 per person. Learn about the Maasai community and interact with the local Maasai people. A overnight at the Masai village can be organized upon request. A balloon safari at USD 450 per person(optional) can can be organized early morning on this day then proceed with the normal program. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place: the great migration. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (in Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the savanna – lions, cheetahs, jackals, hyenas and vultures.
