Seven Days Safari. Maasai means the Speakers of Maa language. Famous for sheltering all the Big Five and its annual wild migration of animals from Serengeti between July and October makes it a Must Visit Park. Lake Nakuru is an Ornithological Paradise with Pink Flamingos. It´s a Sanctuary of both White and Black Rhinoceros. The Endangered Rothschild Giraffe also makes it famous. Samburu means butterfly sheltering five unique animals. Elephants migration crosses the Brown River Ewaso Ngiro.

Itinerary

Day 1: NAIROBI / MAASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE.

Stop At: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Maasai Mara National Reserve, Rift Valley Province
You are welcomed by Pongezi Africa Safaris representative at the Airport. You are given a short brief of your safaris. Later you drive to the west side of Kenya to Maasai Mara. Have a stop at the Great Rift Valley View Point along the road that was built by Italians Prisoners with the Smallest Church. Pass through the agricultural area of Maize, Wheat and Barley. Arrive in time for check in and lunch at Mara Sekenani Camp.
Have a game drive in the afternoon. Look for Common Zebras, Lions, African Elephants and Topis. Wait for the beautiful Sunset with an Acacia Tree. Be back to the Lodge at 1630hrs.

Day 2: FULL DAY SAFARI IN MAASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE.

It’s the seventh wonders of the world due to its annual wild animals migration from Serengeti in Tanzania to Maasai Mara. It occupies an area of 1500 km2. You look for Lions, Cheetahs, Zebras, Leopards, Crocodiles and Giraffes. Be back to the Camp at 1800hrs.

Day 4: MAASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE / LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK.

Stop At: Lake Nakuru National Park, Lake Nakuru National Park, Rift Valley Province
Have an early game drive when the animals such as Lions, Cheetahs and Leopards are active. Look for their cubs and pride. Return for breakfast and later leave for Nakuru with lunch en route. Arrive in the park and start your first game drive in search of, black and white Rhinoceros, endangered Rothschild Giraffe, Pink Flamingos, Gazelles and lions. Approach the Lake for the beautiful sunset with the pinkish Flamingos. Check in at Lake Nakuru Lodge at 1800hrs.

Day 5: LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK / SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE.

Stop At: Samburu National Reserve, Samburu National Reserve, Samburu District, Rift Valley Province
After breakfast drive towards Samburu. Have a stop at Thompson’s Water Fall. You will see a lot of Maize, Potatoes and Vegetables farms. Meet some of the Kenyan World Marathon Champions training along the road. Make a lunch stop at Kentrout Tree Restaurant. Later Cross the Line of Equator and start climbing Mount Kenya up to to a height of 3000 Meters. Then descend to Samburu which has an altitude of 800 meters. On arrival at the Park, start the Safari photography in search of Lions, Leopards and Grevy Zebra. Look for the beautiful Sunset with Doum Palm Trees. Check in at Samburu Ashnil Camp at 1800hrs.

Day 6: FULL DAY SAFARI IN SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE.

You have a full day game drive with picnic lunch. Samburu is famous for its unique big five; Reticulated Giraffe, Grevy Zebra, Gerenuk, Oryx and Somali Ostrich. Look for the Great Elephants Migration of Crossing Brown River. look for lions, Cheetahs y Leopards. Visit the Buffalo Springs. In 2002 we had a Lioness which had adapted a young one of Oryx. The Famous Film ‘ Born Free’ was done here. Watch the beautiful Sunset. Be back to the Camp at 1800hrs.

Have an early Safari photography when the animals such as Lions, Cheetahs and leopards are active. Enjoy the beautiful Sunrise with Shrubby Hills. Return for breakfast and later return to Nairobi with a stop for lunch. Pass through the agricultural region with Roses, Coffee, Tea, Pawpaws, Oranges and Pineapples. Transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
