Maasai Mara National Reserve is an area of preserved savannah wilderness in southwestern Kenya, along the Tanzanian border. Its animals include lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras and hippos. Amboseli National Park is in southern Kenya. It’s known for its large elephant herds and views of immense Mount Kilimanjaro, across the border in Tanzania. Observation Hill offers panoramas of the peak and the park’s plains and swamps. Varied wildlife includes giraffes, zebras, cheetahs and hundreds of bird species.

Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi
Stop At: Nairobi National Park, Langata Road, Nairobi Kenya
On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International airport, you will be met Ultimate African Safaris representative and escorted to settle into the Osoita Lodge where your accommodation has been booked on Half board basis.
Overnight at Osoita Lodge.

Day 2: Nairobi – Masai Mara
Stop At: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Narok 00100 Kenya
After Breakfast the tour starts by picking you from your Nairobi Hotel/Accommodation and your first stop will be the Giraffe Center, an elevated treetop area where you will be given pellets to feed the giraffes, quite literally face–to–face sanctuary for the rare Rothschild giraffe, the center has a feeding platform where giraffes exchange kisses with visitors for pelleted food. Here a resident expert also presents a private briefing on the Center’s work to save the endangered Rothschild giraffe.
The next stop will be David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage where you will get up-close to elephant calves. Daphne Sheldrick, as part of the David Sheldrick Conservation Foundation, rehabilitates baby elephants and other wildlife here at her home just outside of Nairobi National Park. These babies have lost their mothers to poaching, death, injuries, on getting lost in the wild or other tragedies.
The next stop is the Nairobi national park and after the game drive, you are driven straight to the National Museum of Kenya enjoy the best most amazing Kenya’s rich Natural and Cultural Heritage. Here you will spend an hour walking in museum with a local guide explaining to you all the different sections.
Then we will proceed to Kenya’s premier wildlife park – the Maasai Mara home to the residents of the BBC’s Big Cat diary stopping for lunch on the way. These vast plains provide incredible game viewing for this Kenya safari. On arrival we will have an evening Game drive.

Day 3: Explore Maasai Mara
Stop At: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Narok 00100 Kenya
Set off early for a morning game drive to witness the animal kingdom at its most active hour, on your way to the famous Mara River where thousands of wildebeest and Zebras cross from Serengeti to Masai mara each year. Search for the park’s large populations of wildebeest,
Rhinoceros, buffaloes, lions, leopards, elephants, hippos, cheetahs, zebras, impalas, gazelles, warthogs, ostriches, topis and Masai giraffe. Enjoy packed lunch inside the park surrounded by beautiful sceneries and wildlife. In the evening visit a local Maasai village at USD 25 per person. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 4: Maasai Mara – Nairobi
Stop At: Nairobi National Park, Langata Road, Nairobi Kenya
Pre morning game drive as from 06:30hrs until 0930hrs, then return to the camp for the main breakfast, after the breakfast depart for Nairobi with lunch in Narok town. Once in Nairobi we head to Osoita Lodge So we can rest and be ready for Amboseli National park the next day.
On the way, we could stop and various curio shops so you can buy souvenious.

Day 5: Nairobi – Amboseli National Park
Stop At: Observation Hill, SE Side of Amboseli National Park, Amboseli National Park Kenya
We will depart Nairobi in the morning and proceed to Amboseli National reserve at the foot of snowcapped Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak. After check in, you may go swimming or take an afternoon siesta. In the afternoon, we will set off for an evening game drive and you may take drinks with you to enjoy the sunset at the observation hill.
Located south of Kenya, Amboseli is unique for its large elephant herds and splendid views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain and situated across the border in Tanzania. Observation Hill offers panoramas of the peak and the park’s plains and swamps. The park is a favorite among safari-goers as it offers an up-close look of free-ranging Elephants, Lions, Cheetahs, Leopards, Bat Eared Fox, Porcupine, Giraffe and Yellow Baboon among other indigenous species.

Day 6: Explore Amboseli National Park
Stop At: Observation Hill, SE Side of Amboseli National Park, Amboseli National Park Kenya
After breakfast, we will have a morning game drive to a spot where Mount Kilimanjaro background offers a good photographic scenery made more exotic with the animals hovering on the ground. In the afternoon you have an option to go for another game drive, visit the Maasai Cultural Village (extra cost) or relax at the swimming pool.

Day 7: Amboseli National Park – Nairobi

We will have an early morning game drive, enjoy a hefty breakfast, and perhaps take another swim in the pool before we head back to Nairobi. We will arrive in the afternoon and you will be dropped off in any drop off points most convenient to you or at the Airport.
