Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi to Samburu National Reserve
Stop At: Samburu National Reserve, Samburu National Reserve, Samburu District, Rift Valley Province
You will depart from Nairobi and check in at your accommodation for lunch and leave for your first game drive starting 1600hrs in search for Samburu specials, that includes the Baisy oryx, reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, Oryx among others.
The sunsets are one of the magical moments you cannot afford to miss if the weather permits, as the sun goes down the African horizons before you retire to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Samburu to Aberdare National Park
Stop At: Aberdare National Park, Aberdare National Park, Central Province
The park is a high altitude national park created to protect the slopes and moorland of the aberdares ranges. It’s located in the central highlands of Kenya in Nyeri County less than Approx. 170kms from Samburu. While at the park you get to enjoy bird watching of over 250 species, and nocturnal animal viewing from the Ark.
You will have your lunch at the base hotel, Aberdares country club and later transferred to your top hotel for the night.
This day the afternoon will be spent leisurely at the hotels roof top balcony sipping coffee or at the comfort of your room that have a view of natural water holes. The lodges overlooks a watering hole and salt lick, attracting a variety of wildlife, and features viewing areas, including a ground-level bunker.

Day 3: Aberdares to Lake Nakuru National Park
Stop At: Lake Nakuru National Park Kenya
After spending a night at Aberdares you now head to the beautiful lake Nakuru National park situated on the floor of the great rift valley. The lake lies 150 kms northwest of Nairobi in Nakuru county surrounded by wooded bushy grassland, the lake offers a variety of activities from afternoon game drives, you will view the millions of pink flamingos that color the lake pink.
The park is also one of the rhino sanctuaries in Kenya and ideal for bird watching, picnics and game drives. After checking in at your accommodation, the game drives will start at 1600hrs back to your accommodation when sun sets down behind the horizons with a beautiful silhouette against the dimming African skies.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru to Maasai Mara
Stop At: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Maasai Mara National Reserve, Rift Valley Province
After breakfast you will drive south west to the unrivaled plains of the Masai Mara National Reserve across the Masai land through the Suswa plains with a brief stopover at the Masai town of Narok.
Continue towards the interior plains of the Mara arriving in time for lunch and an afternoon game drive. The Mara is Kenya’s most renowned game reserve with an extra ordinary highest density of animals including the Big five and other varieties of plains game. The 270 kms long Mara River cuts through the Mara-Serengeti ecosystem offering the spectacle during the annual migration and life to the two game reserves as it meanders through the savanna into Lake Victoria. The highlight of this safari is the instinct-led migration of wildebeests and zebras from the Serengeti to the Masai Mara.
After checking in at your accommodation in good time for lunch you will later embark on afternoon game drive starting 1600 hrs until 1830hrs for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Full Day Maasai Mara
Stop At: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Maasai Mara National Reserve, Rift Valley Province
Your activities on the second day will be largely dictated by the wildlife migration patterns and the weather, though it will be largely spent exploring the extensive grasslands savannas with options of full day, half day or morning and afternoon game drives. Whatever best suits you.
Hot air balloon and visit to the nearby traditional Masai communities for a glimpse into their rich culture can also be arranged at an extra cost upon prior request.

Day 6: Maasai Mara to Nairobi
Stop At: Nairobi, Nairobi
Wake up early for a sunrise morning game drive returning back to your safari lodge at 0900hrs for breakfast before packing your luggage and checking out latest 1000hrs. You will arrive in Nairobi in the late afternoon and be transferred to your hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to catch your flight.
