This tour takes you to calving season down Mara area, where an estimated 500, 000 young wildebeests are born, Mid Northern Kenya to watch some of the best protected elephant families with plenty of hunts and kills happening as the concentrated herds attract a good number of lions, cheetah and hyenas. Parks to be visited are Samburu National park, Mara National reserve and Malindi Marine Park at the Kenyan Coast.

Itinerary

Day 1: Day 1: Nairobi – Samburu National reserve 8hrs drive

Stop At: Samburu National Reserve, Samburu National Reserve, Samburu District, Rift Valley Province
Samburu National Reserve is one of the lesser-known national parks, but is nevertheless teeming with life. Situated alongside the Ewaso Nyiro River, there is plenty to attract wildlife from the surrounding savannah plains. The Samburu National Reserve is a game reserve on the banks of the Ewaso Ng’iro river in Kenya. On the other side of the river is the Buffalo Springs National Reserve. The park is 165 km² in size and is situated 350 kilometers from Nairobi.

The reserve has species rarely found elsewhere e.g. Reticulated giraffes, grevy’s zebra, kuchi, Beisa oryx’s, Somali Ostrich, genenuk, vulturine, guinea fowl among others. Arrive in time for lunch afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at a lodge.

Stop At: Mt. Ololokwe, Nanyuki, marsabit, Nanyuki, Kenya
This mountain towers over the Samburu plains a short distance from Archers post in the northern Kenya never fails to turns heads. It offers interesting hiking and rock climbing adventures, and great views of the semi arid plains. Distance mountain view are great from the top.

Day 2: Day 2: Samburu national reserve full day-8 hrs drive

Stop At: Samburu National Reserve, Samburu National Reserve, Samburu District, Rift Valley Province
Wake up in time for breakfast then proceed for full day game drive exploring all that Samburu has to offer ; from the elephants, the rare gerenuk, elands, grevy’s zebra etc. Stops will also be made in local Samburu community villages to experience the intricate community culture.

Return to the hotel in time for dinner, evening cultural chat.

Day 3: Day 3: Samburu nationa reserve-Aberdare National park-4hrs drive

Stop At: Aberdare National Park, Aberdare National Park, Central Province
Depart Samburu after breakfast in the morning for Aberdare National park arriving in time for lunch Treetops lodge for Dinner and overnight. Floodlit game viewing. Picturesque, steep forested ravines and open moorland characterise the Aberdare National Park.

Day 4: Day 4: Aberdare national park-Masai mara national park

Stop At: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Maasai Mara National Reserve, Rift Valley Province
After breakfast depart Aberdare for Maasai Mara Kenya’s most celebrated game park, it offers the possibility of seeing “the big five” and many other species of game. This is where the great wildebeest migration is a spectacle to behold for any who would be a visitor to Kenya mainly in July to October of each year.
The more time one takes in this park the higher chances of seeing the animal’s migration. Early morning game drives for a sunrise followed by a return to the camp for breakfast. After breakfast Full day spends in the park (timing the wildebeest to cross the river as the predator’s such lions wait to receive them) with packed lunch in search of its popular residents like the well-known predators and their opponents like the Zebra, Wildebeest, Giraffe, Hippo and the dangerous Crocodiles with a visit to Mara river.

Day 5: Day 5:Masai Mara full day

Stop At: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Maasai Mara National Reserve, Rift Valley Province
Witness the thrill as the Wildebeests, millions in number, crowed on the side of the Mara river contemplating on the dangers ahead; the giant Nile crocodiles sense the thunders & move to a position, while across, the predators watchfully take hide. In safe grounds, you will take charge & position your cameras to witness and record events as they unfold in the region.

The concentration of wildlife in Masai Mara is highest compared to other parks in the region. Safari Game viewing will cover the greenery savanna plains to view the large numbers of grazers while on the field the predators will be seen actively taking charge in their hunting spree. In the air and on Land scavengers are seen rivaling for dominance. Masai Mara in Kenya is one of the natural wildlife habitats where endless episodes are witnessed.

Hot air balloon adventure, Night game drive, and Masai village visits are a perfect complement to your wildlife safari experience.
