4 Days Tour Masai Mara Game Reserve from Diani

Itinerary

Day 1: MOMBASA/DIANI/MALINDI – MAASAI MARA

Pass By: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Maasai Mara National Reserve, Rift Valley Province
Depart on a scheduled flight to the Masai Mara Game Reserve. Weather permitting you will have aerial views of the Mount Kilimanjaro and the Great Rift Valley and the scenic geological occurrences including sights of the beautiful Great Rift Valley lakes.
Arrive at the Masai Mara airstrip at approximately 1000 Hours. Upon arrival at the airstrip we shall transfer you to your Camp with a short safari game drive en-route. You will then check-in at the Camp then have Lunch. After lunch you will have a short siesta, followed by an afternoon game drive.
Dinner and overnight at Fig Tree Lodge.

Day 2: Full Day Masai Mara

Pass By: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Maasai Mara National Reserve, Rift Valley Province
Early Breakfast at 06:00hrs then depart with picnic boxes for a full day game drive around the vast Masai Mara looking for animals: herds of wildebeest, zebra, giraffe, lion, cheetah etc. This time you will drive as far as the Mara River where crocodiles and hippos may be found. You will settle down at a picnic site with your picnic boxes for lunch. Afternoon game viewing will go on until 18:00hrs when you will return back to the Lodge. Dinner and overnight at the ,Mara Fig Tree Lodge.

Day 3: Full Day Masai Mara

Pass By: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Maasai Mara National Reserve, Rift Valley Province
After breakfast drive for a full day game drive along Mara River in search of hippos, crocodiles, famous the BIG FIVE, viewing the great migration of wildebeests into Mara savanna grasslands and plains. Lunch is served in picnic boxes at the river, afternoon game drive on route to the Lodge. Dinner and overnight at Fig Tree Lodge.

Day 4: MAASAI MARA – MOMBASA/DIANI/MALINDI

Pass By: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Maasai Mara National Reserve, Rift Valley Province
You will have an early morning, pre-breakfast safari game viewing drive. Depending on the season, the plains are home to astounding abundance of wildlife like the wildebeests, zebras, buffaloes, impalas, topis, giraffes, Thomson’s gazelles, cheetahs, serval cats, hyenas, warthogs, jackals, waterbucks, monkeys, baboons.
This is the Park with the largest number of lion sightings. If you are lucky, you get the opportunity to see the rare shy black rhino at a distance. The vast plains are also home to the Masai people with their big herds of cattle and their rich unique culture.
We will then return to the Lodge for breakfast then leave for another game drive viewing and then return to the Lodge in time for lunch. After lunch, transfer to the airstrip for your scheduled flight to Mombasa ,Ukunda or Malindi Airport .You will arrive late in the evening , where you will be received and transferred to your hotel.
