Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Mount Longonot National Park, Naivasha Road, Maai Mahiu 00200 Kenya

DAY 1: NAIROBI – MT. LONGONOT – NAROK – MAASAI MARA via the historic GREAT RIFT VALLEY

1. Pick up (8 am) from your overnight accommodation/airport or at our central meeting point – lobby of 680 Sentrim Hotel, Muindu Bingu Street, Nairobi Central Business District (easily accessible via Uber/Bolt or public means)

2. Departure for an enjoyable journey south along the peak and floor of the historic Great Rift Valley.

We will stop at critical viewpoints for a good view of Mt. Longonot, to take some breath, photo opportunity and optional souvenirs/post cards.

3. We then driver through Africa’s picturesque Savannah grasslands and Greate Rift Valley floor for early lunch in Narok town, the capital city of the Africa Maasai people. In Narok, you will experience early glimpse of the Maasai people in their cultural setting and regalia.

4. After lunch and pleasantries, we embark on the last leg to Maasai Mara Game Reserve for evening game drive.

Here you will experience firsthand the Big Five in their natural setting as they predate on other animals, mate in their colonies and settle for the evening under unique Africa’s sunset.

5. You then return to the camp at 7 PM for refreshments, dinner and warm shower at Rhino Camp. Optional alcoholic drinks are served at a fee.

DAY 2: FULL DAY MAASAI MARA SAFARI INCLUDING THE MARA RIVER TO WATCH WILDEBEEST MIGRATION

1. Early breakfast at the camp then 8 AM departure for full day safari exploring Africa’s flora and fauna, and searching for the Big Five

3. Drive to the Mara River on Kenya/Tanzania boarder for the wildebeest migration. The opposite of the river is Serengeti in Tanzania.

4. Picnic lunch will be served by the river as you enjoy a view of hippos and crocodiles, as they prey on wildebeests migrating either across the Mara river.

5. Late evening drive to catch a view of all the Big Five and the entire Maasai Mara ecosystem.

6. Dinner and overnight stay at your tented camp (or lodge for those who prefer 5 star accommodation – $150 per night – optional)

Duration: 12 hours

Stop At: Lake Nakuru National Park, Lake Nakuru National Park, Rift Valley Province

DAY 3: MAASAI MARA – NAROK – LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK

1. We start day 3 with early morning game drive (between 6.30 a.m – 8.30 a.m) to catch a glimpse of wildlife at sunrise and monitor their morning behavior as they start their day.

2. Breakfast at the camp then departure to Maasai Village to interact with the Maasai in their homes ( additional charge/tip of $10-15 payable directly to the Maasais recommended)

3. Departure for Lake Nakuru also known as the PINK LAKE for its great masses of pink flamingo – over 2 million at any one time.

4. Enjoy picturesque view of the Lake which is home to endangered WHITE and BLACK RHINOS and over 350 bird species. It is an ornithological Paradise!

5. Dinner and overnight stay at Lake Nakuru National Park. This is also an opportunity to sample Nakuru city night life (optional).

DAY 4: MORNING LAKE NAKURU GAME DRIVE – DEPARTURE FOR NAIROBI

1. We start with early morning full course breakfast at your 4 star hotel

2. Tour of Lake Nakuru Rhino sanctuary/National Park for morning game drive to watch the flamingos, hippos, chimpanzees and other herbivorous

3. 11 AM departure for Nairobi with optional airport transfer for those catching early evening flights (additional $20 apply for airport optional drop-offs)
