Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi to Maasai Mara

Stop At: Mount Longonot National Park, Naivasha Road, Maai Mahiu 00200 Kenya
You will be able to spot the Mt Longonot
Duration: 15 minutes

Stop At: Mara River, Maasai Mara National Reserve 00200 Kenya
You will be picked up from your Nairobi hotel or from the airport and driven to Masai Mara, travelling through The Great Rift Valley escarpment and the Masai Town of Narok along the way. You will arrive in the Mara in time to check-in and have lunch at the Mara Serena Lodge. After lunch, you will take off on your first game drive through the park. You will search for lion, cheetah, elephant, buffalo and other members of the “big five”.

Day 2: Full Day Maasai Mara National Reserve

Stop At: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Narok 00100 Kenya
You will rise very early in the morning and take off for a sunrise game drive before returning to your lodge for a full breakfast. After breakfast, you will spend the entire day in the park, stopping for a picnic lunch along the way. The tour will take you in search of popular wildlife residents, including well known predators and their prey. You will visit the Mara River, where you will spot hippo and the dangerous crocodiles. Later in the evening you will return for dinner and your overnight stay at the lodge.

NOTE: An optional hot air balloon ride is available for today (cost not included).

Day 3: Maasai Mara to Nairobi

Stop At: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Narok 00100 Kenya
After an early morning breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and take off on your last game drive on your way back to Nairobi. You will arrive in Nairobi in time for lunch and then be dropped off at your respective hotel or the airport around 3:00pm. This is where your safari will end.

Optional: For our clients with evening flights, you can take part in an afternoon game drive with a packed lunch in hand. After the game drive you will return to Nairobi around 5:00 or 6:00pm, at which point you will be dropped off at the airport or your hotel.
