Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi – Aberdares National Park

Stop At: Aberdare National Park, Nyeri Kenya
We met at the airport or hotel after breakfast proceeds to the Aberdares National park. You will have lunch at The Aberdares Country club. After the game drive, you will be transferred to The Ark. The Ark has four viewing decks with balconies and lounges to provide superb game viewing from the comfort of the lodge. The animals come to you! Later dinner and overnight at The Ark lodge.

Day 2: Aberdares National park full day

Stop At: Aberdare National Park, Nyeri Kenya
After a nice breakfast at the lodge, you will go for a full day game in the park. Aberdare National Park is called The Majestic Moorland. Picturesque, steep forested ravines and open moorland characteristics the Aberdare national park. You will be able to see here elephants, black rhinos, leopards, hyenas, olive baboons and much more.
Our tour guide will do his best to show you all the animals which are living in this park but he will also take you to the most beautiful waterfalls. You will enjoy a great picnic lunch under the tree in the park
At the end of the afternoon, he will bring you back to The Ark where you can relax a bit before having dinner.

Day 3: Aberdares – Samburu National Reserve

Pass By: Samburu National Reserve, Samburu National Reserve, Samburu District, Rift Valley Province
Depart from Aberdares to explore both Samburu and Buffalo Springs Reserves. Arrive on time for lunch at Lion’s Cave Camp Samburu and relax getting ready for your first-afternoon game drive. Samburu National Reserve offers distinctive vistas of rugged hills and undulating hills, you will have a chance to spot the rare Oryx, Gerenuk, Grevy’s Zebra, Reticulated giraffe, Somali Ostrich, crocodiles, hippos, herds of elephants, buffaloes, lions, hyena, cheetahs and if you are lucky enough the elusive leopard. The mix of grassland and wood with a swamp and a riverine forest makes the reserve home to a variety of animal and bird-life. Game viewing in the reserve is excellent due to its visibility. Return to your camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Samburu National Reserve Full Day

Stop At: Samburu National Reserve, Samburu National Reserve, Samburu District, Rift Valley Province
You will have a full day in Samburu Game Reserve with a 0630hrs game drive returning to the lodge for breakfast. Later leave your camp with packed lunch to explore both Samburu Reserves. You will have a chance to spot the rare Oryx, Gerenuk, Grevy’s Zebra, Reticulated giraffe, Somali Ostrich, crocodiles, hippos, herds of elephants, buffaloes, lions, hyena, cheetahs and if you are lucky enough the elusive leopard. You may also opt to spend the entire day exploring the reserve with a packed picnic lunch. A visit to a cultural village will be organized if you are interested. Return to your camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Buffalo Spring National Reserve Full Day

Stop At: Buffalo Springs Reserve, Buffalo Springs Game Reserve Kenya
Full day spent exploring the park. Buffalo Spring is the twin sister of Samburu National Reserve, which
sits on the opposite, northern side of the river, Buffalo Springs has a wide variety of animals, including
lots of elephants, but surprisingly few safari-goers, which helps make it a joy to explore.
Dinner and overnight at Lion’s Cave Camp Samburu.

Day 6: Samburu – Ol Pejeta Wildlife Conservancy

Stop At: Ol Pejeta Conservancy, Nanyuki Private Bag, 10400 Kenya
Enjoy an early morning game drive followed by breakfast. Check out and drive into Laikipia plains into Ol Pejeta Wildlife Conservancy. On arrival, you will check-in at the Falcon Heights Hotel and have lunch. After time at leisure, you will have an afternoon game drive. During your game drives, you will also visit the Chimpanzee Sanctuary.

Day 7: Ol Pejeta – Lake Nakuru

Stop At: Lake Nakuru National Park Kenya
Enjoy breakfast at the lodge. This morning departs and drives into the Great Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru National Park arriving in time for lunch at Lake Nakuru lodge. Afternoon game-drive
Lake Nakuru, located is a soda lake that is famed for attracting millions of flamingos and pelicans that come to feast on the abundance of algae. The sheer number of flamingos has led to Lake Nakuru being known as the scene of ‘The Greatest Bird Spectacle’ in the world. There are over 400 species of bird in Lake Nakuru

Day 8: Lake Nakuru – Lake Naivasha

Stop At: Lake Naivasha, Naivasha Road Nakuru County Kenya
After breakfast at the hotel, have a morning game drive as you proceed to Lake Naivasha. Surrounded by grassy banks and dotted with floating reed islands, the lake is home to a healthy population of hippos and a tremendous variety of birds. Have lunch at lake Naivasha crescent camp. In the afternoon enjoy a boat ride on the lake in search of hippos. If we’re lucky we should also see giraffe and antelope grazing on the shores of the lake. Overnight at Lake Naivasha Crescent Camp or similar

Day 9: Crescent Island Game Sanctuary

Stop At: Crescent Island Game Park, Naivasha Bottom Road, Naivasha 20117 Kenya
The Park Where You Walk with the animal
“Crescent Island Sanctuary” is only one. Located on Lake Naivasha, Kenya in the Great Rift Valley. It is simply one of the most beautiful parks in Kenya, often called Naivasha’s best-kept secret. It is private, secure and patrolled by Guides who can accompany anyone who wishes for a guided walk. Surrounded
by water, it is actually a peninsula and is accessible by boat from East or West as well as by road, taking under two hours on tarmac from Nairobi. Crescent Island Game Sanctuary shores host abundant birdlife especially huge numbers of pelicans, cormorants, and fish-eagles with their haunting cry. There are more animals per acre than any other Kenyan Park; hence many film companies have been to the Island to film the herds of Wildebeest, Waterbuck, Zebra, and Gazelle. Dinner and overnight at Lake Naivasha Crescent Camp or similar.

Day 10: Lake Naivasha – Maasai Mara

Pass By: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Narok 00100 Kenya
This morning we journey south to the Maasai Mara National Reserve. The drive takes approximately 6 hours but we have regular stops along the way. On arriving you will check in to the Mara Sopa lodge for lunch. You will have time to familiarize yourself with the new environment before visiting Maasai Village to learn about the culture and the land of the Maasai tribe. The proud young Maasai warrior-nomads with their plaited hair, red cloaks, and spears, challenge your curiosity. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 11: Full day game drive in the Maasai Mara National Reserve

Stop At: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Narok 00100 Kenya
Rising early this morning we embark on a full day game drive in the Maasai Mara National Reserve. During the course of the day, we have a good chance of seeing a multitude of wildlife as we explore Mara’s vast open plains. The Maasai Mara is one of the most famous ecosystems in the world and with good reason. This huge expanse of grassland is home to an astonishing variety of wildlife such as elephant, buffalo, zebra, crocodile, ostrich, hyena, rhino, cheetah, leopard, and lion. Between mid-August to late October, one of the greatest spectacles on Earth takes place in the Masai Mara – the annual wildebeest migration. Over one million wildebeest are joined by zebra and gazelle as they move into the reserve seeking fresh grazing. Nothing is guaranteed on safari, but with the help of our brilliant guides, you should see and learn a huge amount about the resident wildlife as we game drive through the park this afternoon. Day 12: Optional Morning Game drive – Nairobi

Pass By: Nairobi, Nairobi
There is one last chance to go into the reserve for optional morning game drive before we say goodbye to the Masai Mara and return to the bustling metropolis of Nairobi. This is another 6-hour drive but we should arrive at the hotel with plenty of time to relax, freshen-up and enjoy the hotel’s facilities.

Stop At: The carnivore restaurant, Langata Rd, Nairobi, Kenya
In the evening the driver will take you to have dinner at Carnivore Restaurant. The carnivore is the ultimate ‘beast of a feast’ a variety of meats including ostrich, crocodile, and camel, are roasted over charcoal and carved at your table. Delicious side dishes and an exceptional array of sauces complement this fixed price feast that also includes soup, a selection of desserts and Kenyan coffee. Set in attractive tropical gardens, the service and the décor are outstanding. Return to hotel for overnight.

Day 13: Airport Transfer
