This photo tour is different from most others to Kenya. We will be staying in one national park and other wildlife conservancies. Masai Mara is the best national park in Kenya for game viewing and photography. You’ll see everything: the big cats, elephants, giraffe, rhinos, cape buffalo, stunning birds, and much more. In the Masai Mara, we stay in the Governors camp to take advantage of a variety of landscapes and wildlife encounters. Every day, we go out for the best lighting for nature and wildlife photography.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive in Nairobi

Stop At: Nairobi, Nairobi
Welcome to Nairobi, the city in the sun. An awaiting Safari Director accompanies you to the elegant Norfolk Hotel or the warm and cozy Nairobi Serena Hotel for overnight stay booked on Bed and Breakfast.

Day 2: Nairobi – Lewa Wildlife Conservancy

Stop At: Lewa Wildlife Conservancy, Lewa Wildlife Conservancy, Eastern Province
After breakfast, you will take the 1020 Hours Safari link flight to Lewa. On arrival, you will be met at the airstrip and transferred to Lewa Safari Camp. Afternoon game drives is planned in the park coming back to lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight stay. Lewa Wildlife Conservancy is an outstanding game viewing with spectacular views of Mt. Day 3: Lewa Wildlife Conservancy

Stop At: Lewa Wildlife Conservancy, Lewa Wildlife Conservancy, Eastern Province
After breakfast, we will head out to the bush for our photography safari coming back to the camp in the evening. Overnight at Lewa Safari Camp Meal Plan Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 4: Lewa Wildlife Conservancy

Stop At: Lewa Wildlife Conservancy, Lewa Wildlife Conservancy, Eastern Province
After breakfast, enjoy another full day in Lewa Wildlife Conservancy returning to the lodge for lunch. Relax and enjoy your sundowner at a scenic spot waiting for dinner and overnight stay Meal Plan Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 5: Lewa Wildlife Conservancy – Sweetwaters Serena Tented

Stop At: Lake Nakuru National Park Kenya
After breakfast, we proceed to Sweetwaters Conservancy at Serena Tented Camp. After lunch, game drive is planned coming back to the camp in the evening. We will visit the Chimpanzee Sanctuary during our game drives. Overnight at Sweetwaters Tented Camp Meal Plan Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Day 6: Sweetwaters Serena Tented

Stop At: Lake Nakuru National Park, Lake Nakuru National Park, Rift Valley Province
Morning and evening game drives. Sweetwaters boasts of excellent game viewing with the highest ratio of game to area of any park or reserve in Kenya. The camp has its own private waterhole and salt-lick so we’ll be guaranteed unprecedented close encounters. Whether its day or night game drives. Day 7: Sweetwaters Serena Tented – Masai Mara Game Reserve

Stop At: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Maasai Mara National Reserve, Rift Valley Province
After breakfast, we fly by private charter to the renowned Masai Mara Game Reserve. The Mara is a large game reserve, contiguous with the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. We will enjoy 4 nights here at Little Governors’ Camp. The camp is intimate in character, with just 17 luxury en-suite tents tucked around a large watering hole that is regularly visited by both birds and wildlife. Day 8: Masai Mara Game Reserve

After breakfast, the search for great predators and perhaps even cubs continues during extensive game runs. On the plains are enormous herds of grazing animals plus some of Africa’s largest prides of lion, herds of zebra, buffalo, wildebeest, giraffe, the elusive cheetah and leopard hiding amidst acacia boughs. Day 9: Masai Mara Game Reserve

Stop At: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Maasai Mara National Reserve, Rift Valley Province
Morning and evening game drives. The Mara is one of the richest wildlife spectacular scenery for the annual migration, the Masai Mara wildebeest migration is no considered to be one of the wonders of the world, especially as they cross the Mara River. Day 10: Masai Mara Game Reserve

We may try a Hot-Air Balloon Safari. Game viewing is never dull in the Mara, and patience is often rewarded with unique sightings, such as a pride of lion stalking their prey. Day 11: Masai Mara Game Reserve- Nairobi

After breakfast, we bid farewell to your lodge staff and the friends you have made as you leave the Masai Mara and transfer to the airstrip for your flight to Nairobi. A day room is available with a complimentary dinner at the carnivore restaurant until departure for international flights this evening.
