Day 1: Nairobi to Amboseli
Stop At: Amboseli National Park, Amboseli National Park, Amboseli Eco-system, Rift Valley Province
This morning, you will meet your photographic guides in Africa and depart by road through the scenic Athi Plains and into the bush country of Amboseli nestled in the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro arriving in time for lunch at Ol tukai lodge or Serena lodge. Both lodges offer a panoramic landscape sky and wildlife with the massive majesty of snow capped Kilimanjaro in the distance. The lodges are camouflaged in a forest of fever trees and palms.

Day 2: Amboseli National Park

Amboseli is a big game country, elephants, antelope, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, and giraffe. Two game drives are planned today; both will introduce you to the intense beauty and drama that fills each day. Predators stalk the herds grazing animals recreating the age-old drama of life and death under the African sun in a setting so lushly beautiful for photography. Day 3: Amboseli National Park

Rising early for good views of Mount Kilimanjaro before clouds build up over the summit, we set off for another stimulating photographic safari game drive. Amboseli is an excellent place to view a multitude of wildlife, including everything from Wildebeest to Giraffes to Baboons. Optional visit to a Masai village is planned after breakfast. Masai warriors are famously known as the proud nomadic tribe whose legendary prowess in battle and single-handed acts of bravery in fights with the wild animals are known across the world.
A visit reveals the singing and dancing that are part of their daily lives and sacred rituals. A glimpse into their homes and social structure is a poignant experience. Midday finds us at our lodge for lunch and afternoon rest, followed by another extensive photographic guided game drive.

Day 4: Amboseli National Park – Sweetwaters
Stop At: Ol Pejeta Conservancy, Nanyuki Private Bag, 10400 Kenya
Your destination today is the exotic Sweetwaters Tented Camp in the secluded heart of Ol Pejeta. In Ranch and Rhino reserve, these magnificent beasts are given sanctuary from those who would take their lives to sell their horns. Here too, Jane Godall Institute operates a remarkable Chimpanzee sanctuary where you meet primates face to face. Your tents at Sweetwaters will remind you of this bygone era. Day 5: Explore Sweetwaters

Today we explore Sweetwaters Sanctuary on two extensive game drives. The Conservancy boasts an astounding variety of animals including all the “Big Five” the endangered black rhino, leopard, elephant, buffalo and lion. The combination of amazing wildlife and stunning views across the open plains of Ol Pejeta guarantees an unforgettable safari experience. Day 6: Sweetwaters – Lake Nakuru

Lake Nakuru is your destination today, with its jewel of a National park, well known for hundreds of thousands of flamingos, a leopard sighting is likely here. This is a photographers’ paradise. Lake Nakuru National park is also a rhino’s sanctuary both black and white. It is also a refuge for the endangered Rothschild giraffe. Day 7: Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara National Park

After breakfast and check out and drive to the Maasai Mara Game Reserve arriving in time for lunch. The richness of the park’s wildlife will captivate you for the next three days while your luxurious tented camp overlooking the Talek River at the very confluence of Mara’s four prime game viewing area will be equally exciting. Dinner and overnight will be at Mara Intrepids Camp.

Day 8: Maasai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, we will explore the Mara extensively. Masai Mara is a country of rolling grasslands, dense thickets, and groves of acacia woodland. The Mara is home to the incredible variety of wildlife. A deep forest grows along its tributaries where many hippos and crocodiles bask lazily in the sunlight. Here, you find the largest population of lions in Africa. Dinner and overnight will be at Mara Intrepid Camp.

Day 9: Masai Mara National Park

Today we enjoy an early morning game drive then return to our lodge for a full breakfast. Alternatively we can spend the day in the park in search of predators and their prey like the Zebra, Wildebeest, and Giraffe. We have lunch at one of the nearby Lodge or camp. We shall also have an opportunity to see Hippo and Crocodiles found in the Mara River. Overnight at the camp Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Day 10: Masai Mara – Nairobi
