1 Day Funzi Trip

The day begins with a trip up the Ramisi River which abounds with exceptional birdlife and, who knows, even the occasional crocodile.

The Funzi archipelago, located 35 km south of Diani Beach, is an invitation to discover Kenya’s south coast. Immerse yourself in wonderful scenery at the heart of a bay full of islands protected by a coral reef.

A stop on the sandbank ensures that you’re at the most beautiful spot on the coast for swimming and making the most of this little piece of paradise (don’t forget your sunscreen, towel and beach sandals).

After a visit to the village on Funzi island for those who so desire, we head for the Funzi Mangrove Resort.

In a genuine Swahili house, you can sample our seafood specialties’: crab, grilled rock lobster and catch of the day.* after a relaxing break, for as long as you choose, return to the mainland by boat.

Stop At: Diani Beach, Ukunda Kenya

We will leave Diani Beach at 07h30 in a safari vehicle & take you on an adventure-filled day through a maze of mangroves in a motorized canoe.

We will then return at around 17h00 or later if you prefer, because everything is possible and nothing is set in stone.
