Itinerary
Day 1: NAIROBI ARRIVAL
Pass By: Sarova Stanley Nairobi: 5 Star Hotel in Nairobi, Junction Of Kenyatta Avenue and, Kimathi St, Nairobi, Kenya
On arrival at Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by a Urbema Safaris representative and transferred to the Stanley Hotel. (Bed & Breakfast)

Day 2: NAIROBI – ABERDARE NATIONAL PARK
Stop At: Aberdare National Park, Aberdare National Park, Central Province
After breakfast, we drive to Aberdare National Park and the Ark Hotel is set, with a stop en-route for lunch at the Aberdares Country Club. The Ark overlooks a floodlit waterhole and salt lick, which attracts a host of wildlife. So that you don’t miss any animal sightings, the night guard will buzz your room when special animals come to the waterhole. (Fullboard)

Day 3: SHABA GAME RESERVE
Stop At: Shaba National Reserve, Shaba National Reserve, Eastern Province
Breakfast then we drive north to the rugged Shaba National Reserve, arriving in time for lunch at the luxurious Sarova Shaba Lodge. Spend the afternoon discovering the unique species found in this area including the reticulated giraffe, rare Beisa Oryx, gerenuk, and Grevy’s zebra. (full-board)

Day 4: SHABA NATIONAL RESERVE
Stop At: Shaba National Reserve, Shaba National Reserve, Eastern Province
A wake-up call in the wee hours of the morning signals the start of your day with an early morning game drive. It is an excellent time to view the elephant‚ buffalo‚ lion‚ leopard and the rare species of the reserve. The exciting morning game drive will be crowned by garden breakfast with bubbly which is a unique experience of dining on the sandbank along the river. The breakfast includes live cooking against the backdrop of the Ewaso Nyiro River and Shaba game park. Back at the lodge team up with the naturalist/guide for an informative nature walk or indulge yourself in games available at the lodge which include table tennis‚ badminton‚ water volleyball‚ darts and board games. Enjoy another late afternoon game drive in the reserve which lies on the fringes of the vast and arid desert once known as the Northern Frontier District. Get entertained by traditional Samburu music and dance as you savor your dinner. (full-board)

Day 5: LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK
Stop At: Lake Nakuru National Park, Lake Nakuru National Park, Rift Valley Province
After breakfast we drive south to Lake Nakuru, arriving in time for lunch at the Sarova Lion Hill Lodge, with panoramic views of the lake and park. Later venture out on a safari drive. Sightings of both black and white rhino in this area are almost guaranteed. (full-board)

Day 6: MAASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE

Today we take a scenic drive to the tented Sarova Mara Game Camp, a perfect base from which to explore the wonders of the Maasai Mara.
Head out on an afternoon game-viewing drive in the Mara, noted for its black-maned lions. You may see lots of elephants, leopards, cheetahs, and rhino as well as hippo, buffalo, zebra, giraffes, and many other species. (full-board)

Day 7: MAASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE
Stop At: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Maasai Mara National Reserve, Rift Valley Province
Morning and afternoon safaris in Africa’s richest wildlife viewing arena will take you in search of spectacular wildlife. Optional activity (at own cost) – enjoy an exhilarating hot-air balloon ride gliding silently over the Maasai plains.
The Mara offers wildlife in such variety and abundance that it is difficult to believe: over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. You will easily see lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopards, many kinds of antelopes, and elephants. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the savanna- lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena, and vultures. (Fullboard)
