Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi – Lake Nakuru

Stop At: Lake Nakuru National Park Kenya
This morning, you will depart from Nairobi by road and proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park, regarded by avid birders’ as the greatest world ornithological spectacle on earth. The park is famous for its millions of pink flamingos lining on the lake shore, arriving mid morning at Lake Nakuru for a game drive en-route before checking in at your lodge for lunch. A spectacular afternoon game run is planned.

The park is a sanctuary to the black rhino, white rhino, and the Rothschild giraffe. Bird life include common species like the lesser and greater flamingos, African fish eagle, Tawny eagle, green wood hoopoes, cliff chat, great white and pink backed pelicans, plus other intra-African migrants. Today, you will stay overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge or Sarova Lion Hill Lodge. Today, you will be served lunch and dinner, and drinking water will also be available for you.

Day 2: Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara

Stop At: Mara Savannah Masai Market, Narok – Bomet Highway, Narok 20500 Kenya
After a leisure breakfast at your lodge, you will depart overland to the Masai Mara Game Reserve, jewel of Kenya’s game parks. This enormous reserve is actually part of the vast Serengeti plains is famously known for its spectacular great wildebeest migration and is a true home of the big five, lion, elephant, leopard, rhino, and cape buffalo. After lunch, you will explore the reserve on a late evening “spice” game drive.

Today, you will stay overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge, Mara Serena Lodge, or Siana Springs Tented Camp. You will be served breakfast, lunch, and dinner today, while drinks will not be included.

Day 3: Masai Mara

Stop At: Mara Savannah Masai Market, Narok – Bomet Highway, Narok 20500 Kenya
The Masai Mara is one of the greatest wildernesses of the world. For today, morning and afternoon “spice” game drives are planned. Large mammals are varied, abundant, and easy to see there. Residents among the parks mammals are Masai giraffe, buffalo, impala, zebra, topi, and both the Thomson’s and Grant’s gazelles.

Today, optional hot air balloon rides are available at an additional cost. On this final day in the Mara, you will also have an opportunity to visit an authentic Masai village. You will stay overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge, Mara Serena Lodge, or Mara Leisure Camp. You will be served breakfast, lunch, and dinner today, while drinks will not be included.

Day 4: Masai Mara – Nairobi

Stop At: Nairobi Arboretum, State House Road, Nairobi 00200 Kenya
You will start the day today with an early morning “spice” game drive followed by a complete English breakfast at your lodge. You will have a mid-morning drive to Nairobi. The balance of the day is at leisure for last minute assisted shopping and sightseeing. You will be served breakfast today. This is the end of your safari, you may go to your hotel or the airport to catch your flight home.
