4 Day Bush Safari

Adjoining the vast stretches of the Serengeti National Park, the Masai Mara Reserve is one of Kenya’s most famous natural areas. With a fantastic concentration of wildlife, visitors can easily spot an abundance of giraffes, wildebeest and zebras amongst many others galloping over the shrub-dotted grasslands throughout the year. The Masai River flowing through further fosters crocodiles and hippos along its riverbanks, its forests home to an amazing array of bird species. Yet it’s the resident population of carnivores that makes this one so special—from the ferocious plains lion, to the elusive spotted leopard.
A great many visitors opt to schedule their visit to coincide with the Great Migration of July and October, when the Serengeti’s vast populations of wildebeest descend on the Kenyan plains in search of pasture, churning and transforming the environment all around as they go.

Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi-Maasai Mara

Stop At: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Maasai Mara National Reserve, Rift Valley Province
This day will kick off with an early morning departure from Nairobi. You will be picked by your safari driver guide from the Eka hotel and embark on your journey to Masai Mara. You will have a brief stop at the Great Rift Valley view point for 15-20 minutes for some photos before proceeding to the Great Mara. You will arrive in time for lunch at the camp or similar.
Enjoy an afternoon game viewing drive on pop-up roof minivan or land cruisers for easier, unique and uninhibited photo op. You will go back to your camp for dinner.
Dinner and Overnight: AA Lodge

Day 2: Maasai Mara

Stop At: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Maasai Mara National Reserve, Rift Valley Province
The day starts off with a nourishing breakfast and refreshments from the camp. On this escape for two, you will proceed to the sheer beauty and exclusive Mara for unlimited game drives. You will be accompanied by a tour guide/driver who is very familiar with this region so as to give you the best chances of seeking out the Big Five. You will enjoy all the Mara highlights, adventure and relaxation just the two of you.
During the game drives, you will get to see prides of lions, elephant herds, fat pods of hippos, vast Nile crocodiles, leopard, cheetah and hyenas. You can opt to visit a Masai village to experience this nomadic tribes way of life and see their colorful culture. You can as well opt to soar above the plains in a hot-air balloon at an extra cost.

Day 3: Maasai Mara – Nairobi

Stop At: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Maasai Mara National Reserve, Rift Valley Province
Early morning game drives from 6.00am – 9.00pm where we might be lucky to view the cats hunting. After breakfast leave the lodge with game viewing Enroute your return journey back to Nairobi. Stop over in Narok for lunch then proceeds to Nairobi. Drop off to your hotel in Nairobi.
