Amboseli lies immediately north-west of Mount Kilimanjaro, on the border with Tanzania. The Park covers 392 square km, and forms part of the much larger 3,000 square km Amboseli ecosystem.
Large concentrations of wildlife occur here in the dry season, making Amboseli a popular tourist destination. It is surrounded by six communally owned group ranches.
Lake Nakuru provides the visitor with one of Kenya’s best known images. Thousands of flamingo, joined into a massive flock, fringe the shores of this soda lake. A pulsing pink swathe of life that carpets the water, the flamingo are a breathtaking sight.
The Masai Mara is regarded as the jewel of Kenya’s wildlife viewing areas. The annual wildebeest’s migration alone involves over 1.5 million animals arriving in July and departing in November.

Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi- Amboseli National Park.
Stop At: Amboseli National Park, Amboseli National Park, Amboseli Eco-system, Rift Valley Province
Pickup at your hotel and depart Nairobi for Amboseli. You will start to taste the real Africa on the rustic road to Amboseli National Park. This park, located on the Tanzanian border, is considered the best place to see free-ranging elephants in all of Africa. You will also see plenty of giraffes, lions, and cheetahs in a variety of habitats including marshes, plains, woodlands and more. Mount Kilimanjaro, the world’s highest free-standing mountain, watches over this national treasure. Arrive in time for lunch and proceed for an afternoon drive which will show all these wonders to you and more. Dinner and overnight at Amboseli AA Lodge.

Day 2: Amboseli national Park

We will start the day before sunrise to enjoy the magnificent view of Mount Kilimanjaro and set off for another extensive game drive before the clouds build up over the summit. Mt. Kilimanjaro is the highest mountain in Africa and is snow-capped at the peaks. The majesty of this tropical mountain makes Amboseli an ideal photographer’s haven by offering a spectacular back ground for wildlife and scenic photography. Herds of elephants inhabit this swampy park together with lions, cheetah, buffalo, warthog, rhino and different species of antelopes. The park is also a home of interesting bird species. Meals and overnight at Amboseli AA Lodge.

Day 3: Amboseli -Lake Nakuru National Park
Stop At: Lake Nakuru National Park, Lake Nakuru National Park, Rift Valley Province
You will enjoy one last delicious breakfast at the Amboseli AA Lodge before heading off to Lake Nakuru National Park. Arrival will be in time for lunch at your lodge, located inside the Lake Nakuru National Park. In the afternoon you will embark on a game drive where you will have the opportunity to spot, rhino and the famous pink flamingos as well as a variety of other wildlife. Lake Nakuru’s claim to fame is anchored on its flamingo’s and the over 400 species of birds found here. The lake itself is a soda lake on the floor of the rift valley. The Lake has also earned a reputation as an important haven for endangered species- particularly the Rothschild Giraffe and the black and white rhino. Lions, water buck, buffalo and baboons are all residents here. Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru- Maasai Mara

Enjoy your breakfast before heading off to Maasai Mara National reserve. Here are the grasslands, wildlife and adventure that Westerners have come to associate with a safari. During the afternoon’s game drive you will see jackals, lions, wildebeests, zebras and many other species. Dinner and overnight at Sopa Lodge.

Day 5: MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE
Stop At: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Maasai Mara National Reserve, Rift Valley Province
You will have the opportunity to spend another day in the reserve; it is in the Mara that one of the natural world’s most spectacular events takes place – the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti in Tanzania, in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are a range of predators including lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena and vultures. All meals and overnight stay at Sopa Lodge.
