Samburu National Reserve, located in the northern part of Kenya is a rich wildlife zone in Eastern Africa. Not only does this it allow you to see amazing African wildlife, but it also allows you to experience one of Kenya’s colorful tribes.
Mt. Kenya, Africa’s second highest peak is regarded as the realm of Ngai, god of the local Kikuyu people. Traditionally, all Kikuyu home were built to face this sacred peak. They call it Kirinyaga, or place of light.
Lake Nakuru provides the visitor with one of Kenya’s best known images. Thousands of flamingo, joined into a massive flock, fringe the shores of this soda lake. A pulsing pink swathe of life that carpets the water, the flamingo are a breathtaking sight.

Itinerary
Day 1: NAIROBI -SAMBURU NATIOAL PARK
Stop At: Samburu National Reserve, Samburu National Reserve, Samburu District, Rift Valley Province
Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive through central Kenya and north across the equator to Samburu National Reserve arriving Samburu Sopa Lodge in time lunch. Afternoon a short but well planned game drive of enjoying at Samburu. Dinner and overnight at Samburu Sopa Lodge.

Day 2: SAMBURU NATIONAL PARK
Stop At: Samburu National Reserve, Samburu National Reserve, Samburu District, Rift Valley Province
Full day in Samburu, with an early morning and late afternoon game drive. Samburu is a beautiful and and game abundant park, home to rarely found species such as the Beisa Oryx, Grevy’s zebra, blue-necked Somali ostrich and reticulated giraffe. Optional activites include a visit to a local Samburu village, camel riding and guided nature and bird walks. All meals and overnight at Samburu Sopa Lodge.

Day 3: SAMBURU- MT KENYA
Stop At: Mount Kenya National Park Kenya
Depart Samburu after breakfast and drive to the lower slopes of Mt. Kenya arriving Serena Mountain Lodge (tree hotel) in time for lunch. Relax the afternoon away as you watch game from the balcony with an optional guided nature walk. Overnight floodlit game viewing – Mountain Lodge rightfully boasts of having the highest record of animal visits and sightings in the area. Dinner and overnight at Serena Mountain Lodge.

Day 4: M.T KENYA- LAKE NAKURU NATIOAL PARK
Stop At: Mount Kenya, Kenya
Depart Mountain Lodge in the morning and drive to the floor of the Rift Valley – to Lake Nakuru National Park making a brief stop at Nyahururu Thomson Falls. Arrive Lake Nakuru Lodge in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive. Besides the flamingos that the lake is famous for, there are approx 400 other species of birds visiting the lake. Also, many species of game can be found in the park including the introduced Rothschild’s giraffe, black and white rhino, waterbuck, reedbuck, lion, buffalo, leopard, baboon and many species of plains game. Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru lodge.

Day 5: LAKE NAKURU- MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE
Stop At: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Maasai Mara National Reserve, Rift Valley Province
Depart Lake Nakuru after breakfast and drive further along the floor of the Rift Valley to Maasai Mara, the home of beautiful wild animals arriving Mara Sopa Lodge in time for lunch. Enjoy your delicious lunch meal at the lodge as you get ready for a memorable game drive. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa lodge.

Day 6: MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE
Stop At: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Maasai Mara National Reserve, Rift Valley Province
Spend the day in Maasai Mara, Kenya’s most popular game sanctuary where you will have the best opportunity of spotting the Big Five – lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino and elephant. Game drives are flexible, with the option of going out with picnic lunch boxes to spend entire day in the the park, or you can choose to have early morning and late afternoon game drives. You will also have the option of visiting a local Maasai village. All meals and overnight Mara Sopa Lodge.
