Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi/Samburu National Reserve

Stop At: Samburu National Reserve, Nairobi Kenya
Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive through central Kenya and north across the equator to Samburu National Reserve arriving Samburu Sopa Lodge in time for lunch. You will have an afternoon game drive.
Duration: 1 day

Day 2: Samburu National Reserve

Stop At: Samburu National Reserve, Nairobi Kenya
Full day in Samburu, with an early morning and late afternoon game drive. Samburu is a beautiful park and a home to rarely found species such as the Beisa Oryx, Gravy’s zebra, blue-necked Somali ostrich and reticulated giraffe. Optional activities include a visit to a local Samburu village, camel riding and guided nature and bird walks.

Day 3: Samburu National Reserve -Aberdares National Park

Stop At: Aberdare National Park, Nyeri Kenya
Depart Samburu after breakfast and drive to the Aberdares National Park famous for the rare bongo specie. You will have lunch at the base hotel then proceed to The Ark Lodge. Relax the afternoon away as you watch game from the balcony with an optional guided nature walk. Overnight floodlit game viewing as animal come to the water pool

Day 4: Aberdares National Park -Lake Nakuru National Park

Day 5: Lake Nakuru National Park -Maasai Mara National Reserve

Depart Lake Nakuru after breakfast and drive further along the floor of the Rift Valley to Maasai Mara arriving Mara Sopa Lodge in time for lunch. Have an afternoon game drive

Day 6: Maasai Mara National Reserve

Stop At: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Narok 00100 Kenya
Spend the day in Maasai Mara, Kenya’s most popular game sanctuary where you will have the best opportunity of spotting the Big Five – lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino and elephant. Game drives are flexible, with the option of going out with picnic lunch boxes to spend the entire day in the park, or you can choose to have early morning and late afternoon game drives. You will also have the option of visiting a local Maasai village (at an extra cost).

Day 7: Nairobi
