Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi to Maasai Mara

Stop At: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Maasai Mara National Reserve, Rift Valley Province
Pick up in Nairobi from your hotel or residency within Nairobi CBD at 8:00 am and  Start your safari to Maasai Mara at 08:30. You will have a stopover at the Rift Valley viewpoint at 10:00 to see the escarpments and the flat lands below. The Rift Valley is a geographical formation that formed millions of years ago and runs from the top to bottom of Africa. After that, you will eat lunch in Narok Town at 12:00 and then arrive in Maasai Mara at 15:00. Take an evening game safari drive for two hours.

Stop At: Mai Mahiu Road, Mai Mahiu Rd, Nairobi, Kenya
You will have a stop over at the Great Rift Valley point, Mai Mahiu Road, where you will have a breaking view of the floor of the rift valley. The rift valley system was formed 5 million years ago and the rift runs from the red sea through Ethiopia and Kenya and Tanzania. The rift valley is an active volcanic area and has some of the most interesting features including more than 8 lakes, dormant and active volcanic mountains and hotsprings and geysers like the Olkaria geothermal wells and Lake Bogoria geysers.

You can actually see the volcanic Mt Suswa and Mt Longonot from this high place with their evergreen craters and the undulating green rift valley floor. The view from here is just amazing. Make sure to take as many photos from here as you can.

Day 2: Full Day Game Drive in Maasai Mara

Stop At: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Maasai Mara National Reserve, Rift Valley Province
(Balloon safari can be organised at 380 USD) At 07:30, you will start a full-day game drive all the way to the Mara River, the site of the great wildebeest migration. picnic lunch in the park at 13:00, then complete the game drive and return to your accommodation at 16:00. In the evening, you will visit Maasai Village to learn more about their culture

Stop At: Mara River, Maasai Mara National Reserve 00200 Kenya
The Mara River is a river in Narok County (Kenya) and in Mara Region (Tanzania), and lies across the migration path of ungulates in the Maasai Mara/Serengeti game reserves. This is the site where the wildebeest migration takes place. There are a lot of resident hippos and crocodiles.

Day 3: Maasai mara to Namanga

Stop At: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Maasai Mara National Reserve, Rift Valley Province
Breakfast  then Early morning game drive. Then start the drive to Namanga border to spend the night.You will be picked on the way by a separate car so that you don’t get to the traffic jam to head to Namanga which is the border town  to get  ready for the Tanzania part. Stamping and getting visa at the border .

Day 4: Namanga to Lake Manyara

Stop At: Lake Manyara National Park, Lake Manyara National Park, Arusha Region
Drive  and join a group  safari to lake Manyara National park.
Manyara is 2 hours drive from Arusha and it’s a small park that you can do game drives for 2 to 3 hours. Game drive after lunch until evening.

Day 5: Lake Manyara to Serengeti

Stop At: Serengeti National Park, Serengeti National Park
Breakfast then Leave for Serengeti. Arrive and start game drive enroute to the camp. Name of the camp- Serengeti katikati camp.
More game drives afternoon until late evening

Day 6: Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro Crater

Early morning game drive in Serengeti until afternoon . picnic lunch in the park .Depart after lunch. Game drive en route to Ngorongoro  and arrive at simba campsite to spend  night there.

Day 7: Ngorongoro to Arusha

Stop At: Ngorongoro Crater, Ngorongoro Conservation Area Tanzania
Early Breakfast, early morning descent into the crater for game drive in Ngorongoro with picnic lunch. Later proceed to Arusha for dinner and overnight at Venus Premier Hotel.
Duration: 8 hours

Day 8: Arusha to Nairobi

Stop At: Arusha, Arusha, Arusha Region
Breakfast then pepart by the morning shuttle that leaves at 9 am.Drive to the border to cross into the Kenya side.Drive on to arrive in Nairobi at around 2 or 3 pm depending on traffic.
