Following your flight, the Odyssey Safari staff will greet you at the airport and load your bags for transport to the Safari Park Hotel for overnight

Day 2: Nairobi – Ol Pejeta Conservancy
Stop At: Ol Pejeta Conservancy, Nanyuki Private Bag, 10400 Kenya
After breakfast, our adventures in the bush begin making our way to the spectacular Sweetwaters Tented Camp in the secluded heart of Ol Pejeta Ranch and Rhino Reserve.
Here, these magnificent beasts are given sanctuary from those who would take their lives to sell their horns.
Here too, the Jane Goodall Institute operates a remarkable Chimpanzee Sanctuary where we meet the primates face to- face. This camp also overlooks one of the busiest waterholes in the area and offers elephant, giraffe and myriad plains game.
This is Africa as Teddy Roosevelt saw it years ago when he led one of the first safaris to tour Africa in comfort and splendor; tents at Sweetwaters Camp will remind you of this bygone era.

Day 3: Exploring Ol Pejeta Conservancy

Today we continue our exploration of this wonderful reserve with morning and evening game drives in Ol Pejeta Sweetwaters Conservancy. The Conservancy boasts an astounding variety of animals including all the “Big Five” (the only three North white left in the wild, and endangered black rhino, leopard, elephant, buffalo and lion).

The Jane Goodall Chimpanzee Sanctuary also located at olpejeta conservancy is a unique opportunity to learn more about the day-to-day care of the chimpanzees in care. This experiences gives you exclusive access to feeding time and the enrichment activities within their enclosures.

The Rhino Sanctuary is home to two of the world’s last remaining northern white rhinos, and a sanctuary for over 110 critically endangered black rhinos. The Conservancy employs highly trained rhino protection squads, partners with international veterinary experts and ensures data is gathered regularly on each individual animal. Steps like these ensure we remain a role model for rhino conservation in East Africa.

Day 4: Olpajeta Game Reserve – Lake Naivasha
Stop At: Lake Naivasha, Naivasha Road Nakuru County Kenya
Today we start our day with a morning game drive before heading back to the lodge for a full breakfast. After, check out and depart to make our way to Lake Naivasha.
Lake Naivasha is a beautiful freshwater lake, fringed by thick papyrus. The lake is almost 13kms across, but its waters are shallow with an average depth of five meters.
We arrive in time for lunch at our lodge by the lake and in the early afternoon, there is an optional boat ride should you be interested in viewing the wildlife from a different perspective.
Fish-eagles, ospreys, pelicans, and cormorants are among the more than 200 bird species or you may wish to lounge
by the pool admiring the view of zebras, Giraffes and waterbuck just outside the
fence.

Stop At: Crescent Island Game Park, Naivasha Bottom Road, Naivasha 20117 Kenya
Alternatively, a nature walk at Crescent Island is an excellent way to see wild animals while on foot. The private park hosts giraffes, buffalo, elands, waterbucks, gnus, hartebeests, zebras, pythons, and impalas, while the lake supports a large population of hippos.

Day 5: Lake Naivasha – Masai Mara National Reserve
Stop At: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Maasai Mara National Reserve, Rift Valley Province
This morning we will drive through the dramatic Great Rift Valley to the Masai Mara National Reserve. This enormous reserve is actually part of the vast Serengeti plains, famously known for its spectacular great wildebeest migration and is also the home of the Big Five: lion, elephant, leopard, buffalo and rhino.
Take your first glimpses of the vast savannah and wildlife on your way to the camp. Lunch at the camp and then depart on an afternoon game run. The Mara Game Reserve is one of the greatest wilderness areas of the world where large mammals are varied and easy to see.
Evening game drive – 3.30 p.m. to 6.45 p.m.

Day 6: Discover The Masai Mara

The search for great predators and perhaps even cubs continues today during extensive game runs. On the plains are enormous herds of grazing animals plus the elusive cheetah and leopard hiding amidst acacia boughs.
Wake up to the sights and sounds of one of the world’s premier wildlife destinations. In the Masai Mara Reserve live 95 species of mammals and 570 species of birds; an impressive number, making this area an unique destination for game safaris, one of the best places in all of Africa.

Day 7: Dive Deep Into The Masai Mara

Enjoy an early breakfast at the camp, checkout and conduct a game drive en-route with an optional opportunity to visit a village of the Maasai people to witness the singing and dancing that is part of their daily lives and sacred rituals.
A glimpse into their homes and social structure is a poignant experience. Souvenir shopping and a scenic stop at the edge of the Great Rift Valley before arriving Nairobi between 3 and 4 PM. Day rooms, dinner and activities can be arranged depending the timing of your flight (additional cost). We will transfer you from Nairobi to the airport for your international flight.
