3-Day Guided Safari Tour of Maasai Mara Reserve from Nairobi

Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi – Maasai Mara Game Reserve

Stop At: Rift Valley Province, Rift Valley Province
3-day tour departs from Nairobi for a journey south along the floor of the Great Rift Valley. You will stop briefly at the viewpoint located on the Escarpment of this famous Great Rift Valley. After this stop, we drive down and into the floor of the great rift valley passing through, Hills, Valleys Escarpments, and mountains in the great rift valley, some of which came to existence as a result of volcanic activities.

Stop At: Narok, Narok, Rift Valley Province
We arrive in Narok town for a hot buffet lunch. Narok is a small Masai town where Masai’s carry out their small businesses.
Duration: 2 hours

Pass By: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Maasai Mara National Reserve, Rift Valley Province
We further venture into the Bushland of the Masai’s and into the Masai Mara game reserve the home of the Traditional Masai people and the Big five. On arrival, we will enjoy an introductory evening game drive before check-in at camp for dinner and overnight at the campsite.

Day 2: Maasai Mara full day

Pass By: Mara Triangle, 83 Muthaiga Road, Maasai Mara National Reserve 00619 Kenya
You will leave the camp in the morning after full breakfast with your picnic lunch boxes for an extensive full day game viewing in this vast savanna grassland within the Mara triangle – famous Mara reserve is renowned for its great herds of plains game, black-manned lions, leopards, and cheetahs. It also contains numerous elephants and every type of wildlife to be found in Kenya.

Pass By: Mara River, Maasai Mara National Reserve 00200 Kenya
You will drive to Mara River which is the gateway to the annual migration of millions of wildebeests and zebras crossing Mara River – around late June/early July to August with parts of September and again on their return south, around the last two weeks of October through early November. These annual activities make Maasai Mara the 8th wonder of the world.
We return to the campsite in the evening to end our second-day adventure.

Day 3: Maasai Mara – Nairobi

Stop At: Narok, Narok, Rift Valley Province
Enjoy a pre-breakfast game drive then return to the camp for full breakfast before departing for lunch in Narok town. After lunch, we drive down into the Great Rift Valley floor to the Escarpment arriving Nairobi in the evening to end your tour.
