This 7 days tour gives traveler an opportunity to see the best of Kenya’s scenic sites and different landscapes.
From Nairobi city, the capital of Kenya with its tall buildings, businesses and its cosmopolitan nature, to the central part of Kenya, rich in Agricultural activities and mount Kenya to the semi arid of the Northern part of the country which harbors Samburus’ and the game reserve with its unique species of Animals like the gravy Zebra, Reticulated Giraffe, Oryx and the Generuk Antelope.
You will descend the floor of the Great rift valley to view the alkaline Lake Nakuru with its multimillion lesser flamingos and the pelicans.

Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi – Samburu Game Reserve
Pass By: Nairobi County, Kenya
Begin your affordable budget travel from Nairobi the Capital City of Kenya and the hub of Africa. The name comes from the Maasai phrase Enkare Nairobi, which translates to “cool water”, a reference to the Nairobi River which flows through the city. The city is popularly referred to as the Green City in the Sun
Stop At: Nanyuki Town, Nanyuki Town, Nanyuki Municipality, Laikipia County, Rift Valley Province
We drive through Central part of Kenya which has a very fertile Agricultural land for coffee and tea growing mostly. If you move further, we have maize Agricultural farm lands and beef cattle rearing which can be seen along the road as you drive for lunch in Nanyuki town which is the base for climbing mount Kenya.

Pass By: Isiolo, Isiolo, Isiolo District, Eastern Province
After lunch, you will proceed further to the Nothern Part of Kenya, through Isiolo County in the former Eastern Province of Kenya. Its population is 268,002 (2019 census) and its capital is Isiolo. It is the first county to be developed as part of the Kenya Vision 2030 program. Its capital and largest town is Isiolo.
Pass By: Samburu National Reserve, Samburu National Reserve, Samburu District, Rift Valley Province
Further drive brings you to Samburu District and to Samburu Game Reserve, a fiercely beautiful with its arid Savannah’s watered by the lovely Ewaso Nyiro River. It is also one of Kenya’s most protected areas and home to species only found north of the equator, from the Reticulated Giraffe to Grevy’s Zebras and Beisy. You will enjoy evening introductory game drive before you check in a budget camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Samburu National Reserve Morning and evening game viewing
Pass By: Samburu National Reserve, Samburu National Reserve, Samburu District, Rift Valley Province
This day, you will enjoy early morning and evening game drives. We will be looking for the rare species of animals and the also will pursue Elephants, Lions, Leopards and Cheetahs that thrive in the reserve’s grasslands and Acacia woodlands. And so the day is spent in alternating pursuits of exploration in the bush and relaxation in our campsite.

Day 3: Samburu National Reserve – Lake Nakuru National Park

Stop At: Nyahururu, Nyahururu, Central Province
Making a brief stop at Nyahururu Thompson’s Falls. Thomson’s Falls is a 74 meters (243 ft) waterfall on the Ewaso Ng’iro river in central Kenya, a few kilometres from Lake Ol Bolossat, which drains from the Aberdare Range. It is situated 3 kilometres (2 mi) from the town of Nyahururu.

Stop At: Nakuru, Nakuru, Rift Valley Province
Scaling down further downwards into the floor of the Great Rift Valley to Nakuru County for hot lunch in a budget hotel in Nakuru town.

Pass By: Lake Nakuru National Park, Lake Nakuru National Park, Rift Valley Province
After lunch, you will drive into Lake Nakuru National Park for an exciting afternoon game drive in the Park to amaze at the millions of lesser Flamingos that the lake is famous for, there are also Pelicans as well as approximately 400 other species of birds visiting the lake. In addition, the wildlife to be found in the park including the introduced Rothschild’s Giraffes, Black and white Rhinos, Waterbucks, Reedbucks, Lions, Buffaloes, Leopards, Baboons and many species of plains game. In the evening you will return to Nakuru town budget hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru National Park – Maasai Mara Game Reserve
Pass By: Rift Valley Province, Rift Valley Province
After early breakfast at your budget hotel, depart overland for scenic landscape views.spotting the Hills, Mountains, Valleys and Escarpments most of which came into existence as a result of Volcanic activities. Besides Lake Nakuru, you will also see from a distance the Lakes Elementaita and Naivasha which are also among the lakes found in the Great Rift Valley. You’ll get to Mai Mahiu, a small business cosmopolitan town at the junction of Narok and Naivasha then turn right to Narok.
Stop At: Narok, Narok, Rift Valley Province
You will continue further with your drive through the Maasai land reaching Narok well in time for hot buffet lunch. Narok town is a Masai business hub where you can find almost everything you can get in small countryside town.

Pass By: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Maasai Mara National Reserve, Rift Valley Province
After lunch, you will further drive to Maasai Mara game reserve for an introductory evening game drive. Maasai Mara is 1500 square kilometers on the rolling Savannah grassland. This provides an enabled environment for the existing of the wild animals which are abundant in the famous Maasai Mara Game Reserve. We will check in at our campsite for dinner and overnight

Day 5: Discover Maasai Mara Game Reserve
Pass By: Mara Triangle, 83 Muthaiga Road, Maasai Mara National Reserve 00619 Kenya
Leave the camp in the morning after full breakfast with your picnic lunch boxes for an extensive full day game viewing in this vast savanna grassland within the Mara triangle – famous Mara reserve is renowned for its great Herds of Plains Game, Black-Manned Lions, Leopards and Cheetahs, it also contains numerous Elephants and virtually every type of wildlife to be found in Kenya
Pass By: Mara River, Maasai Mara National Reserve 00200 Kenya
This game drive will take you to the Mara River, the famous gateway of the migration of the Wildebeests and Zebras from Serengeti in Tanzania in late June/early July to Maasai Mara and in October back to Serengeti. You will have an opportunity to see the Hippos and the Crocodile basking along the river bank. After picnic lunch in the middle of nowhere, you will have another extensive game drive on your way back to the Campsite for dinner and overnight with an option of visiting a Masai village at an extra cost of US$ 25

Day 6: Explore Maasai Mara Game Reserve
Pass By: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Maasai Mara National Reserve, Rift Valley Province
Maasai Mara being 1500 square Kilometers, we will move west of the Mara through to the different parts which we did not visit in the second day game drive, like the look out hill to see the rolling savannah grassland and the Mara hills. After hot lunch at the camp, you will go for another evening game drive which will take us until the sundowner.

Day 7: Maasai Mara Game Reserve – Nairobi
Stop At: Narok, Narok, Rift Valley Province
Early morning tea/coffee or hot chocolate then depart for a morning per-breakfast game drive. Back to the accommodation for breakfast, then depart to Narok for lunch. This is a small Masai town where which Masai’ carry out their businesses.

Stop At: Rift Valley Province, Rift Valley Province
After lunch, you will descend eastwards down the Valleys, past Mountains, Hills and Escarpments to Mai Mahiu, a small business cosmopolitan town at the junction of Narok and Naivasha. We turn right up the Great Rift Valley escarpment for a brief stop at the view point. Then to Nairobi arriving in the evening to end your 7 days camping tour
