Itinerary

Day 1: Departure from Nairobi to Tsavo West National Park.

Stop At: Tsavo National Park West, Tsavo National Park West, Coast Province
Early Breakfast at the hotel then check out. At 7am we will depart for Tsavo west national park with a short stop over at Emali. Arrive at the Mtito Andei gate, park formalities then proceed on an enroute game drive. Arrive and assist in check in at the Kilaguni Serena Lodge, have lunch and relax. At 16h 00 embark on a game drive in the park.
This Park is a vast expansion of African savanna with a more diverse array of habitats which include open plains, semi desert scrub, woodland, Chyulu Hills and rock outcrops. It’s famous for the Red Elephants, Oryx, and Gerenuk among other mammal’s species and bird life. Other notable features include Mzima Springs which are water source for Mombasa Town, Shetani Lava Flow and Ash cones, which is an example of recent volcanic eruption. You will then return to the lodge before dusk for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Tsavo West National Park Game Drives.

Stop At: Tsavo National Park West, Tsavo National Park West, Coast Province
Wake up early and have coffee or tea before breakfast. Explore Tsavo West National Park with 2 game drives scheduled for this day. The extensive diverse habitats offer ideal area to search for pride of Lions, Buffaloes, Cheetahs, Giraffe, Zebras, Hippos and Wildebeests. Mzima Spring, underground water seepage from Chyulu hills is a good place to watch the Hippos. There is also a wealth and diversity of birds’ species. You will return to the Lodge for breakfast and mid morning leisure relaxation at the lodge. You can have an optional nature walk around the lodge with a resident naturalist. This park is considered the best for topography fans who also want to view Kenya’s animals and birds. It encompasses mountains and hills for climbing, savanna bush and semi-arid desert scrub, acacia woodland, palm thickets, rivers. Dinner and overnight will be at the Lodge.

Day 3: Departure from Tsavo West National Park back to Nairobi

Stop At: Nairobi, Nairobi
Today you will have your breakfast at leisure. You will then be assisted with check out and depart for Nairobi with a short stop over at Emali. Arrive in the afternoon and transferred back to your hotel or the airport.
