Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival Nairobi
Stop At: Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Embakasi, Nairobi, Kenya
Arrival in Nairobi can take place any time of the day depending on your international flight. Upon arrival at the Airport, you will be met by a representative and thereafter transferred to The Boma Inn Hotel for an overnight stay. If you would like to change money, we recommend doing so while still at the airport, before getting to the visa / passport control. It is best to pay your visa in cash USD. Dinner on own arrangements (to be organized and paid by you direct) at one of the available restaurants.

Day 2: Nairobi to Lake Naivasha National Park
Stop At: Lake Naivasha, Naivasha Road Nakuru County Kenya
Have Breakfast at your hotel between 07.00 to 08.00 hrs.
Thereafter depart for Lake Naivasha after a short safari briefing. You will be driven along the breathtaking Great Rift Valley (with a short stop at viewpoint for photographic opportunities) to arrive at approx.1030 Hrs at your lodge. The drive from Nairobi to Naivasha takes approx. 1.5 – 2 Hrs depending on the stops made along the way.
After check-in proceed for a late morning boat ride lasting for approx.1.5 Hrs followed by lunch thereafter. Spend the rest of your afternoon at leisure or simply relax in your lodge rooms with breathtaking views of the well manicured lawns. Sopa Lodge boasts of a beautiful compound surrounded by yellow backed acacia. Several animals such as Waterbucks, Impalas, Columbus monkeys and Baboons have found a good home here. Guided walks in the compound can be organized with the resident guide.
At approx. 1630 Hrs depart for guided tour in the Crescent Island where you get to walk amongst the antelope family and get closer to the Giraffes and Wilde-beests. Return for dinner and overnight at Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge

Day 3: Lake Naivasha to Maasai Mara National Reserve

After a scrumptious breakfast, depart for the world renowned Maasai Mara Game Reserve, driving via the Maasai town of Narok to arrive at your lodge in time for lunch and an afternoon game drive there-after. Dinner and overnight at Mara Ndovu Camp

Day 4: Full Day Maasai Mara National Reserve
Stop At: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Maasai Mara National Reserve, Rift Valley Province
You will spend the full day in the Mara where you will have a good chance of seeing herds of buffalo and zebra as well as hippos and many other animals and birds. Go on a full day game drive and enjoy a picnic lunch out in the bush. A visit to a Maasai village is planned to give you a glimpse of a very different way of life. At this time of year the Great Migration passes through the Maasai Mara Game Reserve. It is an amazing sight to behold when 1.5 million gnus are on the move across the plains. You may even be fortunate enough to see one of the dramatic river crossings.

Day 5: Full Day Maasai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast enjoy the second full day game drive in the reserve. An option of a balloon safari at USD450 per person can be organized early morning on this day then proceed with the normal program and in the evening an option of Masai Village visit USD20. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place: the great migration. You will have picnic lunches in the Reserve as you scale the Mara beauty sited at the banks of Mara river

Day 6: Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru
Stop At: Lake Nakuru National Park, Lake Nakuru National Park, Rift Valley Province
Depart in the morning and drive to the floor of the Rift Valley – to Lake Nakuru National Park. Arrive at Lake Nakuru Lodge in time for lunch. Afternoon, conduct a ‘Spice’ game drive.
The Lake is famous for flamingos as well as over 400 other species of birds. In addition, many species of game can be found in the Park including the introduced Rothschild’s giraffe, black and White Rhino, Waterbuck, Reed buck, Lion, Buffalo, Leopard, Baboon and many species of plains game

Day 7: Lake Nakuru to Nairobi

Wake up early in the morning for a last game drive and have breakfast thereafter. At around 1000 Hrs begin your drive back to Nairobi to arrive late afternoon. On arrival drop off at Boma Inn Hotel

Day 8: Nairobi City Tour & Departure
Stop At: Giraffe Centre, Duma Rd, Nairobi Kenya
The tour starts by pick up at your Nairobi Hotel at 8AM. You will then be driven to the Giraffe centre where you will learn more about the conversation efforts to conserve an endangered species. The center’s main purpose is to protect and help with the breeding of the endangered Rothschild Giraffe. Under the supervision of a professional, you can feed the giraffes from a raised observation platform. These platforms allow the visitors to come eye-to-eye with the giraffes. The center also has a large auditorium where visitors can listen to talks about Giraffe conservation and a various activities the center is involved in.

Stop At: Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, Mbagathi Road Kws Workshop Entrance – Nairobi National Park, Nairobi 00503 Kenya
The second stop is the Elephant Orphaned Trust; it is strictly open between 11 am and 12 noon. Here you will be able to see rescued baby and teenage elephants and learn their unique stories of how they got there, how they got their names and what plans are there to release them. Daphne Sheldrick, as part of the David Sheldrick Conservation Foundation, rehabilitates baby elephants and other wildlife here at her home just outside of Nairobi National Park. These babies have lost their mothers to poaching, death, injuries, on getting lost in the wild or other tragedies.

Stop At: The carnivore restaurant, Langata Rd, Nairobi, Kenya
Our driver will then take you for Lunch to the Carnivore Restaurant. Upon your arrival, you will simply take your seat on the Zebra striped chair so the movable feast can begin. First comes the soup of the day before a sizzling cast-iron plate is placed in front of you, along with a plate of home baked brown bread and butter. An army of carvers wearing zebra striped aprons and straw hats then move from table to table carrying the Masai swords laden with different prime meats deliberately carving unlimited amounts onto the sizzling, cast iron plates in front you. Meats that will be available include leg of beef, ostrich, leg of lamb, pork spare ribs, crocodile, chicken wings, pork sausages, beef sausages, and more. Accompanying the meat feast is a wide selection of salads and vegetable side dishes, and also a variety of sauces stacked on to a 2-tiered revolving tray in the center of the table. Stop the circulation of meats to your table by lowering the white paper flag that is on top of the central tray. Next, enjoy dessert and coffee to top off your meal.
After Lunch you will be dropped back to the airport to connect your flight back home and say bye.
