Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi- Maasai mara National Reserve

Stop At: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Maasai Mara National Reserve, Rift Valley Province
You will start your five-day safari in Maasai Mara tour with a drive through the scenic Great Rift Valley to the Maasai Mara National Reserve. This enormous reserve is actually part of the vast Serengeti plains famously known for its spectacular great wildebeest’s migration and is home of the big five (Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo, and Rhino). Stopover at Narok town for Lunch. Arrival at the camp refresh and relax before departing for the evening game drive. The Maasai Mara National Reserve is one of the greatest wilderness in the world. Large mammals are varied and easy to see. Residents of the park are Maasai giraffe, Buffalo, Eland, and thousands of plains game including Impala, Zebra, Topi, as well as both Thomson’s and grants gazelles. Dinner is served and overnight at the camp.

Day 2: Maasai Mara National Reserve

Stop At: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Maasai Mara National Reserve, Rift Valley Province
After hot breakfast depart for full day game drive with packed lunch which will be enjoyed in the famous Mara river. The search for great predators and perhaps even cubs continues today during extensive game runs. On the plains are enormous herds of grazing animals plus the elusive cheetah and leopard hiding amidst acacia. You will have chance to visit great Mara river back in the camp in the afternoon dinner to be served in the camp and entertainment from Maasai Traditional dancers.

Day 3: Maasai Mara National Reserve – Eldoret

Stop At: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Maasai Mara National Reserve, Rift Valley Province
A full English breakfast at the camp. Depart for Maasai village for the cultural dance and having the African touch of the Maasai community in Kenya.
The team will then proceed to Eldoret the home of Champions. A stopover at Iten view point to watch the magnificent view of The Great Rift Vallley and Tambach Escarpments.

Day 4: Eldoret -Lake Baringo

Stop At: Lake Baringo, Kenya
Part of the East African Rift Valley, Lake Baringo is one of only two freshwater Rift Valley lakes, together with Lake Naivasha, in Kenya. It is in the remote west-central region of Kenya, with only Lake Turkana being further north. Lake Baringo is fed by a number of rivers, but has no visible outlet. The lake is home to more than 470 species of birds however – many of which breed on and around the lake. It is an important stop for migratory birds – both inter-Africa and globally. The area is also home to a number of species such as Hippo, Crocodile, Zebra, Klipspringer, Grant’s gazelle, Chandler’s Mountain Reedbuck, and the rare Greater Kudu. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 5: Lake Bogoria National Reserve

Stop At: Lake Bogoria, Kenya
The amazing Lake Bogoria National Reserve is located in Baringo with a vegetation of riverine forest and bushland. The park was primarily established to protect the greater kudu, found on the western slopes of the Laikipia Escarpment. Other than this wildlife specie, the park also hosts a large population of beautiful pink flamingoes, small heards of thompsons gazelle, groups of zebra, warthog, klipspringers and if lucky, you may spot leopards and cheetahs. But the main attraction of this park is its furiously erupting hot springs and geysers, hot enough to boil an egg in a matter of seconds! Depart for Nairobi.
