The Masai Mara is perhaps Africa’s Greatest Wildlife Reserve. Situated in Southwest Kenya, it stretches outward into the Serengeti in Tanzania. Its home to over 95 species of mammals and over 570 species of birds (birds of prey, including vultures, marabou storks, and horn-bills, crowned cranes, ostriches, long-crested eagles, and African pygmy-falcons) making it one of the richest ecosystems in Kenya.
In these parts, carnivores like leopards, cheetah and lions are not a rare sight: they roam freely as they seek out prey. Between July and August, you may catch the Great Wildebeest Migration; and you will experience the distinctive Masai people’s culture and true African hospitality in one of our cultural trips.
