Bird watching: Enjoy the fabulous water birds and other bird species. The best place to view the birds is from Baboon Cliff, where you get an excellent view over the lake, and the wonderful spectacle of pink flamingoes along its edge. However, the number of birds in the park fluctuates as food conditions change, so check the bird population with the national park before making the journey.

Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi – Lake Nakuru

Stop At: Lake Nakuru National Park, Lake Nakuru National Park, Rift Valley Province
Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park.
Arrive at Lake Nakuru in time for lunch.
Afternoon game drive in the park – famous for the bird life for which Nakuru is so well known there are many different wildlife species in the park including lion, leopard, Black rhino, White rhino, buffalo, Rothschild’s giraffe, zebra, impala and waterbuck.
Dinner and overnight at the camp.
Duration: 5 hours

Day 2: Lake Nakuru – Nairobi.

Return to the camp to check-out
Depart for Nairobi.
