During your four day adventure from Lake Nakuru to Maasai Mara you’ll get introduced to some of the most spectacular wildlife there is.
The first leg, Lake Nakuru, is famous for it’s flamingos and the exceptional large population of black and white rhinos. Surrounded by picturesque ridges, you’ll be able to enjoy the wide ecological diversity of the area.
After that, we’ll take you to the famous Maasai Mara National Reserve, famous for its wide Savannah and Maasai people.
On your journey you’ll meet rhinos, lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras, hippos and more. If you visit in spring, you might even catch thousands of wildebeest traverse its plains during their annual migration.

Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi ~ Lake Nakuru
Stop At: Lake Nakuru National Park, Lake Nakuru National Park, Rift Valley Province
Once you arrive in Kenya, your safari guide will greet you at the Airport, where you’ll get briefed about the days ahead.
He’ll be your driver, tour guide and source of information for all things Kenya throughout your stay.
We then drive together to your accommodation on Lake Nakuru, where you can get settled. After lunch you’ll head out on your first game drive.
Lake Nakuru is one of the few alkaline lakes located in Kenya’s Great Rift Valley. The park is home to the white and black rhino, the Rothschild’s giraffe, pink flamingos and many other wildlife species. It is very famous for bird watching, as there are over 350 bird species that call it home.

Day 2: Lake Nakuru ~ Maasai Mara
Stop At: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Maasai Mara National Reserve, Rift Valley Province
After breakfast, your guide will take you on the journey to your second location, the famous Maasai Mara. You’ll see plenty of wildlife and gorgeous scenery on the way. Later in the afternoon, once you’ve settled in, you will go on a thrilling game drive through the Maasai Mara National Reserve. After which, you will head back to your chosen accommodation for dinner and settle in for the night to prepare for the following day’s adventure.

Day 3: Maasai Mara (full day)
Stop At: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Maasai Mara National Reserve, Rift Valley Province
The Maasai Mara Reserve is the most famous reserve in Kenya. In large part because it’s where the Great Wildebeest Migration from the Serengeti takes place every year. In the Mara, you will likely see the black-maned lion, leopard, cheetah, hyena, jackal, elephant and many more members of the wildlife family. At the end of this full day of game drives, you’ll head back to your accommodation for dinner. Then it’s time to settle in for the night and prepare to leave the following morning.

Option 2 – morning game drive, return for lunch, afternoon game drive.

Day 4: Maasai Mara ~ Nairobi

After breakfast, your guide will drive you back to Nairobi, where he will drop you off at the airport or your hotel. He will wish you farewell and leave you to continue your adventures in Kenya or on your journey back home.
