Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi-Masai Mara

Stop At: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Narok 00100 Kenya
The Mara is a spectacular expanse of open grassland which covers 1,510 km² in the south-west corner of Kenya. Wildlife roam freely throughout the vast Masai Mara Ecosystem. There are no boundaries or fences to obstruct the movement and migration of animals. The Masai Mara and the Serengeti effectively form a continuous ecosystem and jointly host the annual spectacle of the migration.

Day 2: Masai Mara National Reserve

Stop At: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Maasai Mara National Reserve, Rift Valley Province
After breakfast leave for a full day game drive with picnic lunch at Mara river migration area. Spend the day in Masai Mara, Kenya’s most popular game reserve where you will have the best opportunity of spotting the Big Five – lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino and elephant. Game drives are flexible, with the option of going out with picnic lunch boxes to spend entire day in the park, or you can choose to have early morning and late afternoon game drives.

Day 3: Masai Mara National Reserve-Amboseli National Park

Stop At: Amboseli National Park, Amboseli National Park, Amboseli Eco-system, Rift Valley Province
After Early morning breakfast then check out and exit the park with an en route game drive. We drive to Nairobi “The City under the Sun” and proceed further to Amboseli National Park arriving late in the afternoon.

Beautifully situated beneath the foot of Africa’s highest free standing mountain “Mt. Kilimanjaro” (5895m). The park is well renowned for its huge herds of elephants and various types of other Savannah wildlife such as Giraffes, Bush-buck’s, Kudu, Warthog’s,lions, Zebra’s and over 425 species of birds recorded here.

Day 4: Amboseli National Park

Stop At: Amboseli National Park, Amboseli National Park, Amboseli Eco-system, Rift Valley Province
After breakfast leave for a full day game drive with picnic lunch at the observation hill; overlooking the snow-capped peak of Kilimanjaro; against this backdrop is an impressive display of wildlife attracted to this location by swamps and springs fed by underground rivers from Kilimanjaro’s melting snow.

The Amboseli was the location around which such famous writers like Sir Ernest Hemingway and Robert Ruark tailored their stories of big game hunting in the wilds of Africa.

Day 5: Amboseli National Park-Nairobi
