This Comprises of Kenya and Tanzania Parks and attractions. As neighbours, they obviously share a common border, a sizeable chunk of which consists of Serengeti National Park on the Tanzanian side and the Maasai Mara National Reserve on the Kenyan side, together forming the Serengeti-Mara Ecosystem.

Itinerary

Day 1: Jomo Kenyatta Airport Nairobi / Eka Hotel

Stop At: Nairobi, Nairobi
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport at 2100hrs– Nairobi, you will be welcomed by a representative of Mamasavana who will brief you on your safari before driving transferring you to Eka Hotel – for Overnight on (Bed & Breakfast).

We will let you relax in the first day before our adventure begins.

Day 2: Nairobi – Sweet Waters

Stop At: Sweetwaters Serena Camp, Ol Pejeta Conservancy, Nanyuki, Kenya
After breakfast, Drive to Sweetwaters Game Sanctuary in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive will give you an opportunity to visit chimpanzee sanctuary. The combination of amazing wildlife and splendid views of Mt Kenya and across the open plains of Ol Pejeta, which guarantees a memorable safari experience to guests. It’s on a 110,000 acre wildlife land. This is a Conservation boast of the amazing diversity of animals including the non-indigenous chimpanzees and the big 5 (the endangered black rhino, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and lion) and other game such as buffalo, grevy zebra, giraffe, Thomson’s gazelle, black-back jackals, grant’s gazelle, baboons, waterbuck, oryx and several hundred of species of birds. (Camel treks and nature walks are also possible at the camp at additional cost) Overnight at Crown Hotel overlooking the waterhole (on a full board basis).

Day 3: Sweet Waters – Lake Nakuru

Stop At: Lake Nakuru National Park, Lake Nakuru National Park, Rift Valley Province
Early morning wake-up, game drive on the way towards Lake Nakuru, considered the home of Flamingoes. A stopover at Nyahururu to admire the Thomson waterfall before proceeding to Lake Nakuru with arrival in time for lunch at Lake Nakuru Lodge. Lunch and relax. Afternoon game drive to view and enjoy the numerous pink flamingoes present in the lake, black and white rhino among other water-loving animals. The final spectacle is at the viewpoint “out of Africa” a unique place for its position to witness the splendid African sunset before getting back for dinner and overnight stay on full board basis.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara

Stop At: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Maasai Mara National Reserve, Rift Valley Province
After breakfast at your lodge, drive to Masai Mara National Reserve. Red-clad with a spear, Masai warriors tend their herds of cattle among the wildlife, admirably unmoved by the presence of large predators. The most spectacular feature is the annual migration of wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle from the plains of Serengeti that cross the Tanzanian border and rivers to reach Mara’s grasslands from late June, tracked by predators and circled by vultures as the journey unfolds. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge. Depart for an afternoon game drive in search of wildlife. Overnight at Mara Sentrim Camp –Fullboard basis

Day 5: Masai Mara

Stop At: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Maasai Mara National Reserve, Rift Valley Province
The full game drive in this spectacular game reserve, all with superb photographic opportunities. Apart from the seasonal migration, game viewing is excellent year-round. Game includes: – elephant, Black Rhino, buffalo, wildebeest, Burchell’s zebra, hartebeest, various antelope and gazelle, lion, leopard, giraffe, elephant cheetah, hippo, crocodile, and much more. It is perhaps the only region left in Kenya where the visitor may see animals in the same super-abundance as existed a century ago. Today you might opt to visit a Maasai Village (price not include) for a very special cultural experience. See how they interact with modern society and the way they use local plants in ceremonial and medicinal ways. Overnight at Mara Sentrim Camp

Day 6: Masai Mara – North Serengeti National Park

Stop At: Serengeti National Park, Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, enjoy a game drive en route towards Isebania where you will be handed over to the Tanzania staff to continue with your safari on the Northern circuit. On arrival at the Kenya/Tanzania border of Isebania, you will exchange vehicle after immigration formalities, drive to the north corridors of Serengeti where the great migration is about to start the journey of crossing the deadly Mara river which is full of the world greatest alligator’s. “We call it river of death”. Serengeti is perhaps the most impressive wildlife sanctuary in the world. These vast, seemingly unending plains are inhabited during the migration by enormous herds of wildebeest and zebra. There is a great diversity of wildlife including lions, leopards, cheetah, impala, buffalo, birds, and up to ten thousand elephants.

Day 7: Serengeti National Park – Northern

Stop At: Migration at Serengeti National Park, Serengeti National Park Tanzania
Full-day game drives through the north corridors of Serengeti where the great migration is preparing itself to start its journey back to northern Serengeti where they will cross the Mara River from The Mara Reserve in Kenya. Serengeti is perhaps the most impressive wildlife sanctuary in the world. These vast, seemingly unending plains are inhabited during the migration by enormous herds of wildebeest and zebra. There is a great diversity of wildlife including lion, leopard, cheetah, impala, buffalo, birds and up to ten thousand elephants. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Heritage Tented Camp – Mara

Day 8: North Serengeti National Park – Central Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, start game drives through the Central Serengeti plains. Serengeti is perhaps the most impressive wildlife sanctuary in the world. These vast, seemingly unending plains are inhabited during the migration by enormous herds of wildebeest and zebra. There is a great diversity of wildlife including lion, leopard, cheetah, impala, buffalo, and birds and up to ten thousand elephants.

Day 9: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater

Stop At: Ngorongoro Crater, Ngorongoro Conservation Area Tanzania
After breakfast Descend into the 100-square-mile Ngorongoro Crater to view the game on the vast grasslands of the crater floor. The bottom of the crater dotted with watering holes, shelters almost 30 000 animals in an area naturally enclosed by the slopes of the volcano. You will find the Big Five lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, leopard among others. Ngorongoro crater is the largest unbroken caldera in the world and is surrounded by very steep walls rising 610 meter from the floor, it is considered to be one of the Wonders of the Natural World and is a veritable haven for wildlife. Spectacular animal life can be found throughout the year due to the permanent availability of grass and water. Picnic lunch, overnight At Ngorongoro Coffee Lodge.

Day 10: Arusha City – End Of Safari

Stop At: Arusha, Arusha, Arusha Region
After breakfast at the lodge, drive back to Arusha city for short safari debriefing, then transfer you to Arusha Airport drop off ready to connect your flight either back home or to Zanzibar departing.
