Meru national park is wild and beautiful straddling the equator and bisected by 13 rivers and numerous mountain-fed streams. it is an especially beautiful area of kenya. it has diverse scenery from woodlands at 3,400ft on the slopes of nyambeni mountain range, north east of mt kenya to wide open plains with meandering river bank dotted with doum palms animals to see are lions,elephants,cheetah,leopard,black rhino,zebra gazelle,oryx and some of the rarer antelope,lesser kudu and duiker also common dik dik one of africa smallest antelope.

Day 1: nairobi- meru national park

Stop At: Meru National Park, Meru National Park, Eastern Province
arrival and met upon by our representative together with your driver guide receive our souvenir safaris hat which is not only a gift from us but also the best way to start your into adventure safaris
after loading your luggage into the safaris vehicle you proceed to meru national park you shall have some stopovers to stretch your legs and also visit the washrooms
arrive later in meru national park good time for lunch at murera springs eco lodge and thereafter lunch enjoy a relaxed time before your afternoon game drive

today you will have two game drive morning and evening game drive around the park ‘Complete wilderness’brilliant on a magnificent scale the meru and kora sister parks feature luxuriant jungle,coursing rivers,verdant swamp,khaki grassland and gaunt termite cathedrals all under the sky’s great blue bowl.little visited and utterly unspoilt few places are comparable to the remote and rugged atmosphere found here. visitors can see grevy zebras,elephants,bohor reedbucks, hartebeests,pythons,puff adders,cobras,buffalos and more than 427 recorded species of birds dinner and overnight at your lodge
