6 Days Maasai Mara-Amboseli Budget Safari (Daily Departure+24h Customer Service)

A 6 days-long tour combining travel to Amboseli National Park at the base of Mount Kilimanjaro and famous for the largest herds of elephants. We will traverse the Great Rift Valley on the shores of Lake Naivasha for a scenic sunset boat ride. The tour climaxes with the visit to Masai Mara National Reserve which perhaps is most famous for its wildebeest migration and large prides of lions and all “Big Five”, and may be visit a Maasai village.

Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi – Masai Mara

Stop At: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Maasai Mara National Reserve, Rift Valley Province
We depart from Nairobi in the morning and drive to the floor of the Rift Valley. Here we have a stopover at Great rift valley for a scene viewing, after which we proceed to Maasai town known as Narok, arriving to Maasai Mara for lunch in our Camp.
During the afternoon, we will have our first game drive until late in the evening. Dinner and overnight at our Miti Mingi Eco Camp.

Day 2: Maasai Mara: Full Day Game Drives

Stop At: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Maasai Mara National Reserve, Rift Valley Province
We will spend the day in Maasai Mara, Kenya’s most popular game sanctuary where you will have the best opportunity of spotting the Big Five – lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino and elephant..Our Game drives are flexible, with the option of going out with picnic lunch to spend entire day in the park, or you can choose to have early morning and late afternoon game drives. You will also have the option of visiting a local Maasai village which is catered for in our costs, here you will learn more on the Masai culture and their lifestyle. Its is a very interesting tribe in Kenya.
All meals and overnight at the Miti Mingi Eco Camp.

Day 3: Maasai Mara – Nakuru

Stop At: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Maasai Mara National Reserve, Rift Valley Province
Last day at Maasai Mara. We will start at dawn to catch the sunrise and early hunters and grazers. After that, we will go back to the camp for breakfast.

Stop At: Lake Nakuru National Park, Lake Nakuru National Park, Rift Valley Province
After breakfast, we will drive to Lake Nakuru National park, with a stop over for lunch at Narok Town, followed by a stop over at Lake Naivasha for a Boat ride which is catered in our costs. (If you wish to visit the cresent Island, an extra fee $30 per person will be paid.) Later we drive to Nakuru, arriving late evening, We head to your hotel for refreshment, dinner and overnight at the Hotel Citymax in Nakuru.

Day 4: Nakuru – Amboseli

Stop At: Lake Nakuru National Park, Lake Nakuru National Park, Rift Valley Province
Today, we start with an early breakfast. It’s an ornithologists and game watchers’ day. Hundreds of thousands of flamingos are present on the shallow edges of the lake. Pelicans and hundreds of other bird species will be seen.
The adjacent park hosts both the black and white rhino, lions, warthogs, antelopes, baboons and many other animals.

Stop At: Nairobi, Nairobi
We leave Nakuru for Nairobi, stopover to enjoy lunch.

Pass By: Amboseli National Park, Amboseli National Park, Amboseli Eco-system, Rift Valley Province
After lunch, we will continue our road to Amboseli National Park.
Dinner and overnight at Kimana Amboseli Camp.

Day 5: Amboseli: Full Day

Stop At: Amboseli National Park, Amboseli National Park, Amboseli Eco-system, Rift Valley Province
A day of game drives in this park, in which dust devils swirl around the edges.
At the heart of the park is a breathtaking swamp, which attracts Elephants, Flamingos and Hippos in abundance.
A visit to the observation hill will follow, where you will look out for the glistering majestic snowcap of Mount Kilimanjaro.
Amboseli is justly famous both for its huge fauna – elephants, which are the most studied in the world. Living beside the most celebrated culture in the country – the Maasai, you will find lions and cheetahs.
We will have lunch in the bush as you enjoy the view of the Kilimanjaro.
Dinner and overnight at Kimana Amboseli Camp.

Day 6: Return to Nairobi After an Exciting Safari

After breakfast, we will proceed for our final game drive in the park, then later leave Amboseli, driving back to Nairobi with lunch enroute. We will arribe during late afternoon with a drop off at Carnivore for Dinner, then later drop at Airport for your connecting flight / or your Hotel in Nairobi.
