Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi – Aberdares National Park

Stop At: Aberdare National Park, Aberdare National Park, Central Province
You will be picked from your hotel by our driver guide who will brief you regarding your safari, and later you will head to treetops. Treetops is historically famous because queen Elizabeth spend the night as a princess and woke up as a queen.Picturesque, steep forested ravines and open moorland characterise the Aberdare National Park. The park provides a habitat for elephants, black rhinos, leopards, spotted hyenas, olive baboons, black and white colobus monkeys, buffalos, warthogs and bushbucks among others. Rare sightings include those of the Giant Forest hog, bongo, golden cat, serval cat, African wild cat, African civet cat and the blue duiker. Visitors can indulge in picnics, trout fishing in the rivers and camping in the moorlands. Bird viewing is rewarding, with over 250 species of birds in the park, including the Jackson’s Francolin, Sparrow hawks, goshawks, eagles, sunbirds and plovers.

Day 2: Aberdares National Park – Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, head to Lake Nakuru National Park which is regarded by avid birders’ as the greatest
World ornithological spectacle on the Earth. Arrive in good time for lunch. Afternoon game drive will welcome and introduce you well to this park. The park is famous for its pink flamingoes lining on the lake shore. It is the Sanctuary to the Black Rhino, White Rhino and the Rothschild Giraffe. Here we’ll have the chance to look out at some of the common species like the lesser and Greater Flamingoes, African fish Eagle, Tawny Eagle, Green Wood Hoopoes, Cliff Chat, Great White and Pink Backed Pelicans plus other intra- African Migrants.
