Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive – East Africa Gorilla Safari

Pass By: Entebbe, Entebbe, Central Region
Welcome to East Africa – Karibu East Africa!!!
Meet and greet with our safari representative at the airport and thereafter, you will be transferred to your hotel in Entebbe for an overnight. Dinner and breakfast is included.

Day 2: Entebbe to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Pass By: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Western Region
Your day will start after an early breakfast and you will embark on your gorilla safari to Bwindi impenetrable forest. The journey will offer you highway sights of rural and semi-urban Uganda with several fruit & vegetable markets along the roads, craft and drum makers and a stop at Uganda’s Equator monument where you will cross to the southern hemispheres. After the experience at the Equator, the drive will continue with a stop over in Mbarara for lunch before proceeding to Bwindi with short bathroom stopovers and picture sessions of landscape and other attractions.
Journey takes 8 hours.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking Day – Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Stop At: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Western Region
After breakfast, the driver guide will transfer you to the briefing point where you will receive instructions on how to conduct yourself while in the forest and once you locate the gorillas. After the briefing you will be divided into different groups according to the gorilla family you will be tracking. Flash photography is not allowed and so is prolonged eye contact with gorillas is discouraged, as it is a sign of challenging them. The trek takes anything from minutes to hours in search of the gorillas depending on where they nested the previous night.

Day 4: Transfer to Kampala/Entebbe International Airport

Stop At: Entebbe, Entebbe, Central Region
After an exciting experience with gorillas in the wild, we start our journey and drive back to Entebbe. The journey will take us 8 hours.

Our driver guide will drop you at the airport to catch your flight back home.
