Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive in Nairobi

Stop At: Nairobi, Nairobi
Pick up at the airport and transfer to Hemingway’s Nairobi Hotel, a 5-star boutique all-suites hotel. Each of the suites has a private balcony overlooking the iconic silhouette of the Ngong Hills, famous as the backdrop of the epic movie “Out of Africa” showcasing the life of Karen Blixen.

Day 2: Nairobi – Masai Mara Game Reserve

After Breakfast, our 16 Days Kenya Tanzania Elewana Photography Beach Holidays Safari begins, drive through the dramatic Great Rift Valley to the Masai Mara National Reserve arriving in time for lunch at the Sand River Mara Luxury Camp. This enormous reserve is actually part of the vast Serengeti plains famously known for its spectacular great wildebeest’s migration and is home of the Big Five: Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo and Rhino. Lunch at our Lodge and relax before departing for the afternoon game drive. The Mara Game Reserve – one of the greatest wildernesses of the world. Large mammals are varied, and easy to see. Day 3: Masai Mara Game Reserve – Discover Masai Mara Game Reserve

After Breakfast, the search for great predators and perhaps even cubs continues today during extensive game drive. On the plains are enormous herds of grazing animals plus the elusive cheetah and leopard hiding amidst acacia boughs. Masai Mara remains the most exciting wildlife Eco-system in the world. Day 4: Masai Mara Game Reserve

Stop At: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Maasai Mara National Reserve, Rift Valley Province
We spend another full day in Masai Mara National Park which is the jewel in the crown of Kenya tourism. We have a chance to go further afield in this extensive park flashing out the numerous species that grace this unique game sanctuary. Alternatively we can use the afternoon to engage in the other activities that are available here such as: – Bush meals and sundowners, Cultural experiences, Visit to a local school supported by Land and Life Foundation and Balloon safaris. Return to Sand River Luxury Tented Camp for dinner and an overnight stay. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 5: Masai Mara – Fly to Amboseli

Stop At: Amboseli National Park, Amboseli National Park, Amboseli Eco-system, Rift Valley Province
After breakfast transfer to the Airstrip for your flight to Amboseli via Nairobi. Lunch in Nairobi and proceed in the afternoon to Amboseli by road arriving late in the Afternoon at Amboseli Serena Lodge. Day 6: Explore Amboseli National Park

Amboseli is big game National Park: elephant, antelope, zebra, wildebeest, buffalo and giraffe. Two game drives morning and evening game drives are planned today, both which will introduce you to the intense beauty and drama that fill each day here. Predators stalk the herds of grazing animals, recreating the age-old drama of life and death under the African sun, in a setting so lushly beautiful. Day 7: Amboseli – Tarangire in Tanzania

After breakfast, we depart Amboseli National Park to Tarangire in Tanzania arriving at our lodge in time for lunch. After lunch game drive is planned in the park till evening. Tarangire is virtually guaranteed excellent game viewing at all times, including lion (some tree-climbing!), leopard and a herd of 3,500 elephants. Day 8: Tarangire – Elewana the Manor at Ngorongoro

After breakfast, we have another game drive in Tarangire before departing to Ngorongoro arriving in time for lunch at the Elewana the Manor at Ngorongoro. Day 9: Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Day 10: Ngorongoro – Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, we depart our lodge and drive to Serengeti national Park arriving in time for lunch at Elewana Serengeti Migration Camp. Evening game drive is planned in the park. Serengeti Pioneer Camp has a wonderfully secluded location overlooking the Moru Kopjes in central Southern Serengeti.
