Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi – Mount Kenya Region
Stop At: Mount Kenya National Park, Mount Kenya National Park
Depart Nairobi at 8:00 a.m. to cross the Kenyan Highlands, through pineapple and coffee plantations. You will pass through the industrial town of Thika and the intensely cultivated farms of the central Kenya and arrive in time for lunch at Sweetwaters Tented Camp.
Sweetwaters is a luxury tented camp set in a 22,000-acre Rhino sanctuary: Ol Pajeta Camp. It enjoys magnificent plains to the snow-capped peaks of Mount Kenya and has an abundant wildlife. After lunch, enjoy an afternoon game drive to the only chimpanzee sanctuary of its kind in Kenya.
During your stay at Sweetwaters, you will have to opportunity to meet and greet Morani, the tame black rhino, and to go and see chimpanzees living naturally within their dedicated sanctuary. You will spend the night in Sweetwaters Tented Camp.

Day 2: Mount Kenya – Nakuru
Stop At: Lake Nakuru National Park, Lake Nakuru National Park, Rift Valley Province
Depart from Sweetwaters to Nakuru National Park with a packed lunch and enjoy views of Lake Elementaita before arriving at your destination, Lake Nakuru. The waters here are often colored sparkling flamingo pink from the thousands of attractive birds lining its shores. The park is home to warthogs, water bucks, buffaloes, reed bucks, and the occasional leopard.
White and black rhinos were introduced to the park some years ago and you will find white rhinos at the southern end. The park has also retained its reputation as an ornithologists’ delight with more than 400 species of bird found here. Once in the park, there will be a game drive en-route to the lodge. On arrival, relax and rest at the lodge. You will spend the night in Naivasha Sopa.

Day 3: Nakuru – Maasai Mara
Stop At: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Maasai Mara National Reserve, Rift Valley Province
Depart from Nakuru after breakfast and drive south via Narok to the Mara reserve. You will have a game drive en route to the luxurious tented camp upon arrival in the reserve. Arrive in time for lunch. The rest of the afternoon is at leisure and in the early evening, you will embark on a game drive to get a closer look at the Maasai Mara reserve.
Maasai Mara has incredible wide-open landscapes and fertile riverine woodland following the looping meanders of the Mara and Talek rivers. Wherever you go in the Mara you will see a frequent amount of wildlife such as Maasai giraffe, baboons, warthogs, bat eared foxes, grey jackals, spotted hyenas, topis, impala, hartebeests, and wildebeest. Elephants, buffaloes, zebras, and hippos also exist in great numbers.

Day 4: Maasai Mara
Stop At: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Maasai Mara National Reserve, Rift Valley Province
Today, you will join a very early morning game drive in the Maasai Mara. This is the ideal time to see game as temperatures are cooler and hopefully lions, cheetahs, and leopards will be roaming the vast grasslands in search of prey.
Later, you will return to the lodge for breakfast. The rest of the morning will be at leisure or partake in optional activities, such as a visit to Maasai village to see their nomadic life. After lunch, enjoy an afternoon game drive to get a closer look at the Mara and to look out for the Big Five. Return to the lodge for dinner. You will spend the night in Sarova Mara

Day 5: Maasai Mara – Nairobi

Leave for an early morning game drive that promises to be thrilling. Later, return to the lodge for breakfast before you check out and leave for Nairobi. You will arrive in Nairobi at around 3:00 p.m.
