Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi to Masai Mara

Stop At: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Maasai Mara National Reserve, Rift Valley Province
Departing from the capital of Kenya, Nairobi, you will drive down the escarpment via the floor of the scenic Great Rift Valley. After that, you arrive at your overnight camp, located on the border of Masai Mara, in time for lunch. This afternoon you will explore Masai Mara on your first game drive, getting a taste of what this legendary game park has to offer.

You will stay in luxury safari tents overlooking the untamed savannah plains and woodlands of Masai Mara. At night, you can hear a chorus of different animal sounds as the creatures of the wild communicate with each other in the darkness, more than enough reason to visit.

Day 2: Masai Mara Game Reserve, Kenya

The next two days are spent game viewing in Kenya’s finest wildlife park, the Masai Mara. Your morning and afternoon game drives will take you in search of Africa’s Big Five and the plethora of other wildlife inhabiting this vast Kenyan game reserve. Wherever you go in the vast Masai Mara, you will see an abundance of wildlife such as Masai giraffe, baboons, warthogs, bat eared foxes, grey jackals, spotted hyena, topis, impala, hartebeests, and wildebeest. Elephants, buffaloes, zebras, and hippos are also found in great numbers. It is also common to see lions either basking after a heavy meal or surveying the plains for their next meal. Cheetahs and leopards are harder to spot but reasonably common.

Day 3: Masai Mara Game Reserve, Kenya
