Overview

The southern part of Mombasa, popularly known as South Coast, is a less traveled, quieter area than the immediately north of Mombasa (“North Coast”), partially due to its logistical dislocation from the island-bound city, to which it is connected not by a road bridge but by the steady-but-slow Likoni ferry service.

South Coast has a more rustic feel than the vibrant, boisterous, ever awake North Coast, with quieter, very clean, pristine beaches, a national Park with the highest density of elephants in Kenya, sky diving and much more.
