Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi-Samburu

Stop At: Samburu National Reserve, Samburu National Reserve, Samburu District, Rift Valley Province
Touchdown at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport where our pack and go representative will meet you. Depart from Nairobi and drive to Samburu National Reserve, located on the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro River, the river that gives life to the reserve. Arrive in time for lunch at the Samburu Intrepids Tented Camp. Evening game drive, expect to see members of the special five also known as the Samburu five; reticulated giraffe, beisa oryx, grevy’s zebra and gerenuk. Dinner and overnight at Samburu Intrepids Tented Camp

Day 2: Samburu

Stop At: Samburu National Reserve, Samburu National Reserve, Samburu District, Rift Valley Province
After breakfast proceed for a morning game drive in search of the big five and a variety of other wild animals at the park. Lunch at the Samburu Intrepids Tented Camp. Cultural visit to the Samburu people where you will enjoy participating in their cultural activities(optional). Dinner and overnight at Samburu Intrepids Tented Camp.

Day 3: Samburu-Aberdare

Stop At: Aberdare National Park, Aberdare National Park, Central Province
After breakfast depart for Aberdare National Park and arrive at Aberdare Country Club in time for lunch where you will leave your luggage. Transfer to The Ark Lodge, which overlooks a floodlit waterhole and salt lick, which attracts a host of awesome wildlife. Modeled after Noah’s Ark, The Ark has four viewing decks with balconies and lounges to provide superb game viewing from the comfort of the lodge. The animals come to you! Afternoon game drive at the park, expect to see the elephants, buffalo, hyenas and the big cats (leopard, lions). Dinner and overnight at The Ark Lodge.

Day 4: Aberdare-Nairobi

Stop At: Nairobi, Nairobi
