Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi – Maasai Mara National Reserve

Stop At: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Maasai Mara National Reserve, Rift Valley Province
Depart from Nairobi at 0700 hrs in the morning and drive to the floor of the Rift Valley with a brief stop at the Rift Valley viewpoint to take the most eye catching view of the Escarpment and proceed to Kenya’s premier wildlife park – the Maasai Mara home to the residents of the BBC’s Big Cat diary arriving in time for lunch. Check in and have lunch at Base Camp Maasai Mara. These vast plains provide incredible game viewing for this Kenya safari. Enjoy an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at your lodge/camp

Day 2: Maasai Mara National Reserve

Pass By: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Maasai Mara National Reserve, Rift Valley Province
Spend the entire day in Maasai Mara, Kenya’s most popular game sanctuary where you will have the best opportunity of spotting the Big Five – lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino and elephant. You can opt to go out with picnic lunch boxes to spend most of the day in the park coming back to the lodge late afternoon, or you will have an early morning pre-breakfast game drive, and another one late afternoon. There will also be an optional visit to a local Maasai village. All meals and overnight at lodge/camp.

Day 3: Maasai Mara National Reserve – Lake Naivasha

Pass By: Lake Naivasha, Naivasha Road Nakuru County Kenya
Depart Maasai Mara after an early morning breakfast; proceed to the great rift valley as you enjoy scenic feature such as Mt. Longonot; Suswa all which are in the great Rift Valley. Arrive at Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort in time for lunch. Check in and have lunch. Enjoy an afternoon boat ride at Lake Naivasha that takes you to Crescent Island for a walking safari. This is one of the few places in the world where one can wander on foot amidst wild animals – there are no predators. Dinner and overnight stay at Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge

Day 4: Lake Naivasha – Amboseli National Park

Depart Naivasha after an early morning breakfast and drive to Amboseli. Passing through the great rift valley with scenic views. Arrive at Oltukai Lodge Amboseli late in the afternoon for late lunch. The park is famous for its big game and great scenic beauty whose entire landscape is dominated by Mt. Kilimanjaro. Afternoon game drive.

Day 5: Amboseli National Park

Spend the entire day in Amboseli, with an early morning pre-breakfast game drives when you have the best chance to see the majestic Mt. Kilimanjaro. Return to the camp for late breakfast. The rest of the morning is at leisure. Enjoy an afternoon game drive. All meals and overnight at Lodge/camp.

Day 6: Amboseli National Park – Tsavo National Park

Depart the lodge for Tsavo National Park and enjoy a game drive enroute to Tsavo National park arriving in time for lunch. You will have an opportunity to see a wide range of African wildlife and bird life including birds of prey. Check in for dinner and overnight stay.
